  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/mobile/football/19376352 Dubai-ity? Looks a strange mix that'll benefit from the fans buying in.
  2. Yup saw a tweet to that effect. Big Jan has also came out and said he's not for claiming them either
  3. CHEAT!! Re-awarding the TdF titles should be interesting. Who was clean in that era? Armstrong should own up. He owes it to those mugs that bought those plastic wristbands.
  4. Thoughts from Vuelta highlights was that Froome got great back up just when he really needed it on the final climb. Nothing he could do about winning the stage, but should be a good slugfest over the next few days. Really enjoying how narrow the course can be through the towns.
  5. Been watching Eurosport and they had some American race on where there was no actual on road footage for the last 15 odd km. was killing myself at the commentary. But Jens Voight winning at age 41! Stayed away from field after an early split.
  6. Didn't realise I was still top 10 my interest waned after the TdF and Olympics started.
  7. Didn't see an etiquette issue, sky were on the front before the crash, they just kept going. See the point if it had involved half the peleton. Exceptional conditions with those cross winds and Movistar were unfortunate.
  8. 'mon the tannoy man. Only humourless b*****ds would complain. Sort of like when you wipe yer arse on a training top for a jape?
  9. Wikipedia has been half decent in naming who's been cast. Also be quite impressed reading the wikia thing set up by westeros website, quite handy for checking details but theres spoilers if you haven't read the books.
  10. If you've 15 quids worth that you can't bag up, then either coinstar it (losing their admin fee) or feed it into supermarket autotills over the next week or so.
  11. Matt Slater's twitter feed is worth a feed. Must check if he has an article up on the BBC site.
  12. Looked a heck of a course. Did it end in a bullring? Looked like the tunnel into it threw quite a few riders and maybe gave them a false idea where the finish line was. Not too bad for team sky I guess.
  13. Oh no it sounds like "ARMAGEDDON" Thank f**k we have talksport to tell us how it was..
  14. Sharon's return was shit. A real 'I couldn't care less' moment.
  15. So was that before or after the union jack patterned goal nets? Sounds like the rangersmeeja want list is coming to life!
  16. Saw a link to this earlier. I don't think it's written by CNN staff, but interesting read. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-827222
  17. If the oldco had been relegated under Duff & Phelps watch surely they'd still have moved to liquidate. No-one was willing to pay for oldco and the potential tax liability. Would the problem just have shifted to the SFL earlier? Would the end result have differed?
  18. 'believe' being operative word there. Rangers Newco are free to have whatever opinions they like, the danger is that the MSM then whip that into an agenda and with strawmen in high offices that can lead to things building. 'demotion' 'penalties' 'relegated' 'whacked' 'banned' have all been turned from opinion to fact by the MSM. I'm almost jaded by the whole thing. If we're now getting a rearguard fight from the Newco about the whole shooting match after they've been allowed in, then what exactly have Regan and Doncaster achieved? If they'd applied the rules properly as they stood at the start of 2011/2012 season, Newco wouldnt have had a sniff. We've seen little contrition for the actions of oldco and now Newco starts the game of bullying through its media. Fucksake. Have we learned nothing?
  19. "A club spokesman said the STV story was: "ignorant and ill-informed" and "has caused alarm to Rangers supporters." He added: "For the avoidance of doubt, Ibrox and Murray Park are the property of The Rangers Football Club, which at present is registered as Sevco Scotland Ltd until a name change is given formal approval." Did they really put that out? Wow.
  20. Ok. Ever bought anything from Celtic that had 1888 on it? History and the past of a club are a big marketing pull.
  21. Continuity has been stressed by both Green and McCoist. The name is important. If they get to go with a blue kit, Rangers FC playing at Ibrox then in terms of company law, what's to stop any football club racking up as much debt as it likes and doing a Newco. Kennedy previously stressed he would be the last man standing, does he know something we don't? They'll be dealt with out of the limelight after the season starts for Newco The thread has followed all the key issues as they've risen, there's more to come and we'll see it through. Been peaks and troughs before on the thread. Right now the company name is important. As is the five way discussions to get the SFA licence transferred from oldco to Newco. Identity and Continuity are what the Rangers support expect. If they get the name and the history, is that fair or not?
