Is this not one of the reasons for VAR technology; to avoid cheating? I assume the intention is to stop blatant shirt pulling at corners. Your guy was fouling in the box and got called out for it. If the scrutiny continues it will be less prevalent your team will benefit from it also.

Quite a bit of pish posted on this thread, regrettably from Dees. This is one of the two trophies that we can actually win. To bin it off in a strop after a slightly unfortunate defeat to Airdrie doesn't make much sense to me; we've still got two home games against lower league teams and whilst I was also surprised by Saturday's team sheet, I'm still reasonably/hopefully confident we can still get through to the next stage.

Do we know how long we've signed Shaughnessy, Tiffoney, Portales and Pineda for? -

I think the term is "whoosh"! I laughed -
Apoligies if this has been covered before, but why do Hearts have so many Union Flag style banners at away games? Genuine question, just watched the highlights.

I have also turned off my heating because it's towards the end of April. Unfortunately, I am also on my way to have my second kebab of the week so that is where we differ. -

My memory isn't what it used to be but I think McGeachie's Liverpool testimonial turned into a joint one with Jim Duffy who had a bad injury at Ibrox at the time and was never expected to play again. Fortunately he played again. But that could be nonsense -

That is a brilliant photo of Souness staring Socrates down. He genuinely looks like Yosser Hughes (or the other way round); Yosser was right all along! -

First pic v New Zealand WC 1982. Other two pics Zaire WC 1974. A previous comment was spot on; looks like you'd get a hiding from every single one of them! -

No. And no. Just checked, I bought 23 June. You? -
It wasn't great that's for sure. I think it's all about building confidence at the moment and there was a marked improvement today. Not one of Kerr, McGhee or Ashcroft could have been surprised if they were left out after last week. I think Gowser's rant has been taken on board - Byrne in particular looked keener to get involved - and Sow looked to get stuck in when he came on. If Fontaine can come close to marshalling the defence like Berra did last season we may be ok. Next week's a biggie.

Apologies if I missed this, but what happened to Nicholas Hamilton? -

Dundee's non vote is crucial. You need 8 of 10 championship teams to agree to pass. 7 did, 2 didn't and we lost our balls. If you're against it say so. -

IIRC when Nacho Novo scored two against us and kissed the badge (mentioned in the Tele recently) he dropped to his knees at full time giving it the "I'm not worthy" salute to both the Shankly and the derry which we'd given over. His explanation that he'd previously got abuse doesn't wash with me I'm afraid. -

I really struggle to understand the pelters Curran and Davies are getting. They got offered a contract, they accepted. Obviously it never worked out for either of them (Davies especially) but is it their fault or the manager that signed them? They did what everyone else would do. Let's get over it and move on.
