That was a largely atrocious spectacle. But we deserved to win, and keeping a clean sheet in those circumstances is no easy feat. So fair play to the guys for that.

It's pretty pointless to read a great deal into the game. But I'm glad that we got over the line with three points to keep this decent run going, and there is a real positivity around the place at the moment. I don't think I've ever seen us beat a McCall team before, so that's a nice added bonus.

On the pitch there wasn't a great deal to talk about. Cian Newbury had another good game, neat and tidy in possession and winning plenty of second balls. Finlay Gray and Blair Malcolm both toiled hard and the 'win the midfield, win the game' mantra was proved correct.

Mark Durnan, obviously, is a huge player for us. And he was superb at the back again. It's not just how good he is at defending, it's how much of a leader he is. Barking out orders, demanding things from his teammates. A real standout. This will attract Stenny fans no doubt, but I think he's a better player than Gregor Buchanan. Buchanan has had a superb season (just as he did last year) but if you asked me a straight up if I would swap Durnan for Buchanan I wouldn't.

Jinky's goal was a superb effort. And all game you felt he had a wee bit of match winning magic in him. Both teams were probably guilty of not shooting enough in the conditions. He was the exception. He's came onto a game recently. Since East Fife he's been really impressive and I think he'd benefitting from starting a run of games for the first time all season.

Having the playoffs secured hopefully means we can now rest a few (and wrap a few in cotton wool) until May. Albeit whilst still hopefully keeping the momentum going. I suspect we'll change things a fair bit for Stranraer next week - not what Clyde fans will want me to say.

I've said since they appointed McCall that Clyde will be fine. Today I actually started to doubt that. I can't put my finger on it, but I didn't get a good vibe from that Clyde team at all.

You can't really judge a side in those conditions. But they didn't look like a side scrapping for their lives. And they didn't really look like a side playing for their manager.

I think they have some excellent players. Lee Hamilton and Jordan Allan especially. But the whole package today just didn't look great. A few players looked like they didn't fancy it, I didn't like McCall hooking Kabia and Rennie at half-time (well I did. But I wouldn't as a Clyde fan) and I think they played a very risky game by attempting to sneak a 0-0 in the second-half. One which, ultimately, backfired.

Even in the first-half they didn't do anywhere near enough with the wind. Corners and free-kicks were basically the only time they looked dangerous. Save for Ray Grant hitting the post with a looping volley. They played us off the park and deservedly won at NDP a few months back. Today? Meh. I didn't see a lot.

Im fine with all of the above...

In particular 70/80% of our players attitude to our league position very concerning...

Done hard part last week. Scoring late on as oppose to holding on all game and i dont know why but i was more comfortable goin into yday fixture than i would be away to Elgin...

Severely lacking a few more Lee Hamilton heart on sleeve players which isnt what we need now or potentially play offs in May...

Other teams have went on a run or continuing on a good run, Were so up and down its unreal and cant put my finger on it either and no sure mccall knows either...

The B teams being in the top 5 means f**k all. The fact they are there at all is what makes the league a joke. You've got teams playing glorified friendlies in what is supposed to be a competitive league. You've got teams who gains points than mean nothing, they can't get promoted. You've also got the laughable situation where the team who is winning the league has gone through about 40 players in one season.

It's a diddy league that could be so much better, it was invented as a shit pile and it doesn't look like sorting itself any time soon.

    Absolutely correct

Part of senior fitba ma fuckin hoot

Lets just say its middle o dec and utterly baltic & its a pub day with scores on

    Not in this Lowlife League..

Lucky if you get them next day just another example and i assume you also need to Qualify for the Scottish cup...

We must not go there as we will never return like majority of our support...

  3. Firstly Very very Poor  tonight and from the 1st min on the Pitch to in the stands it felt very flat and passive almost like an end of season game when we actually had the chance to half the defecit with a Home Win...

    Moving onto game...

Rennie can not play wide right & having scored two on saturday should have beem through the middle, Odd decision

McGinn is a LB and has done nothing wrong to be dropped, Played well v peterhead and done more in 15/20mins than so called experianced players in 90...

Alex King is far more effective in CM than Bannatyne and Leitch who were total passengers & were both very lucky not to get taken off along with CY rightly so...

When Forfar attacked every time they had at least 4or5 bursting a gut to get into box, Apart from Leslie chance late on i didnt see that once from our midfield to front...

Honking display to put it mildly and yet another game we failed to show up when it matters to reduce the point gap and keep momentum going after Sat..

Mccall has to take part of the responsbility tonight for his set up with or without injuries/suspension but most will wait until Ross Lyon or Cameron take a bad throw on sat and normal service will resume..

Club is a mess from top to bottom and i include some of our support in that aswell.

Surely only works if you go into an area where kids and families are not already attending a football club (presumably doing a similar thing)? Just in the east end you've got Celtic, and then four WOS clubs of varying levels (also Finnart when they are at Crownpoint) offering cheaper alternatives. Where is the gap in the market and location for this base that Clyde are aiming for?

Was just coming on to ask how he was for you guys?

Seems to be broadly highly rated by us (as we usually loan to the lowland league or below).

He ll probably become a Kris Doolan like Kris Doolan did for you after a brief loan spell with us

Send them to us with the clear objection to try but not too much

Joking aside he aint any worse than Jay Henderson who seems to have racked up a few PL appearances

  7. Alex King sub for Morton today and came on with 30min to go...

Jordan Allan back on bench and got the last minute!

One player clearly wants to play other happy spending his career on the bench which is such a waste but as previously mentioned our league position not helping matters either..

Ps. Anyone know attenedence given last night

It's wild the amount of Clyde fans who criticise Ross Lyon but call him Lyons in the process.

We have a history of that going right back to the 80s when they used to call Tom Cowan (correct name) Tom Cowans..

He was a LB aswell strangely enough

Don't bother with a reservation between dusseldorf and Amsterdam. It's only like 3 hours and there'll be plenty seats.

Just book if you can that's my advice.

    After lot o head scratching...

Seems any IC train can be booked but the ICE trains are not available as these require a seat reservation which doesnt allow you to tick the box either cause their all booked up inc 1st class or not out yet...

Thanks to all who replied on a busy day
