I joined p & b to find out what was happening with rangers, back in the day when rangers were still rangers, fucked up granted, but still the 2nd biggest team in Scotland. The information I harvested from the BRALT was extremely enlightening (after the shite served up by the MSM) and allowed me to give my best mate a most torrid time.
Recently, I have tried not to gloat too much, as he did love the teddy bears, and was almost a broken man.
He felt hope and optimism when Mr Whyte arrived on the scene, and then doubt and despair when they were liquidated (which in my opinion was more about Allys' managerial skills than Whytes' business skills).
Hope appeared on the horizon again when Chuckie ambled up and spouted all the bollox that they wanted to hear. (Snake oil salesman of the century IMO). Despair arrived again, then hope, then despair, then hope, then despair, then ho........ you get the idea.
So I decided to lay off a bit. But after months of despair, hope has raised it's ugly head again, and he is beginning to get on my tits! So this time I will use the information, opinions and comments aired here to hopefully, allow him to see that although there may be light at the end of the tunnel, it is most probably a train heading towards him / them.
It's a clusterfuck captain but not as we know it.
I do think over the coming months either : King & the throbbers (sorry, spelling not my strong point) will gain control or Ashley will gain TOTAL control. Either way they are still fucked and will be for a considerable amount of time.
Finally, although this thread has had periods of inactivity over the last year or so, it has provided me with many hours, nay days of mirth, and I would just like to say thanks to all the contributors to this most wonderful thread.
