  1. I have known Auld Heid for a long, long time. He has hardly missed a Linlithgow game for about 25 years, however, he has always been a Rangers fan. He was a Rangers fan at school and he was a Rangers fan until a couple of months ago. He will now be a Sevco fan. If only he had invested some of his hard earned cash into his team they might not been in the predicament they find themselves in. I think he is feeling a bit guilty. Anyway - GIRFUY.
  2. Correct. Auld Heid has been slavering nonsense on the juniors forum for years. Nobody ever takes anything he says seriously.
  3. Not sure about the Accies. Les Gray's latest statement was about as clear as mud.
  4. Decent player. Loads of pace and very good in the air. Needs to improve his crossing by about 300% to hold down a place in the first division.
  5. How the hell can the SFA issue a 200 page document explaining the original decision when they had no right to come to that decision. Heads should roll for this. What a fvckin farce the whole thing is.
  6. Hibs were awful but it was only 2-1 when Thomson came out with an absolutely ridiculous penalty decision. God forbid he does that in euro champs. He will make Scottish football look even more stupid than it does just now.
  7. This is the mob that stayed in a hotel in Edinburgh prior to the game at Tynecastle and stayed in Dunblane Hydro before the game at Perth last weekend. Ripping the p1sh doesnt even come close.
  8. Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I hear they have sent a squad to a mickey mouse competition in Hong Kong. More top quality savings by H & D.
  9. Well I won't be going back to that then. What a farce. A 40 minute wait for pint was bad but I can put up with that. Virtually nobody was there to watch the darts. It was just a hall full of aresholes who were only there to get hammered. Throwing drink all over the place, falling down the stairs, fighting. I saw about a dozen folk getting thrown out but if the stewards were doing their job properly it should have been several hundred. And I had the misfortune to be sitting at the end of the row nearest the stairs. I think there were 8 or 9 people in the row and me and the missus had to let each of them out at least 5 times each to go to the toilet or bar. FFS there is a break every 15 mins - can you not just wait till the break. At the start I wanted Anderson to win but after a couple of legs I was cheering on Whitlock just because the way the crowd treated him. Whitlock came out with that superb 164 checkout and nobody I saw where I was (block A) even saw it. Not a reaction from anyone. As for the bloke in row F who had virtually fallen asleep and was woken by the booing of Painter. He then joined in. Being seriously cheesed off by then I asked him who/what he was booing. He didn't know and didn't even know who was playing. By the way I like a beer or two as much as anyone and had a few last night but what is the point of going to these things if you are just going to spoil it for everyone else.
  10. Going tonight as well. First time I have been and really looking forward to it.
  11. Surely Haudit and Daudit are not there to "agree" cuts. They are there to impose them and if the players are not happy then tough. They are appearing to be more and more incompetent by the hour.
  12. They are appearing more dodgy by the hour. I would guess Wylde and that other imposter would have been on about £20k-£25k a month between them. A long way to go to get to the £1m a month saving.
  13. Another valuable contribution. At least that idiot knows about the fvckin caps lock.
  14. Got tickets for Glasgow and looking forward to the first 2 games especially - should be quality games. Not been to the Premier league before. Can anyone give approx finishing time. Will I be able to get back to Queen Street for 11.30 or will I be better booking a hotel.
  15. Someone took a sore one outside the Footballers pub in Linlithgow. Hopefully they are ok but I am not surprised after seeing some of the riding. There were a few near misses at a roundabout in Linlithgow as those on bikes obviously decided to bash on regardless of the rules of the road. What really pissed me off was the 100 odd who saw an elderly lady half way across a zebra crossing but thought it would be fun to speed past her so she was trapped half way across the road. Arseholes.
  16. Good day out at the Grange yesterday. Although gubbed I thought Scotland bowled and fielded pretty well. Malinga's wee cameo at the end gave them a bit of momentum. With a cuople of overs to go looked like they would get around 255 instead of the 284 they got. Our batting was pretty woeful although when Malinga gets it in the right place he is virtually unplayable. He did bowl a lot of wides and full tosses as well but we didnt take advantage. Cracking weather but Cricket Scotland made a bit of a mess of it. The main scoreboard and the tannoy both not working is very poor for a game of that nature in front of a decent crowd.
  17. Dont know if you can pay at the gate. Check with cricket scotland. I will have to make sure you are allowed to bring beer with you rather than use the beer tent.
  18. Yep, is at the Grange on Weds 13th July. £20 a ticket which is not too bad.
  19. I am going to the Scotland v Sri Lanka game next week. Should be a good day out - weather permitting. Any other PnB'ers heading along.
  20. By the way, the story in the paper yesterday about Stewart Stevenson having his street cleared of snow is bollox. My mate stays beside him and it simply did not happen as reported. Think it was Thursday of last week it got cleared which was the same day as many other streets in Linlithgow.
  21. Utter bollox. How can they have done as good a job as possible when some towns have still not seen a gritter. Some people have been housebound for 11/12 days FFS. If the same amount of snow had fallen in London do you think the M25 would have been shut for 48+ hours.. There are loads of people who are losing wages - during a recession and at Xmastime - because the public transport system has ground to a halt. How bad would the situation have to be for you to think general public had been led down badly.
  22. With the current condition of the roads in the West Lothian area, there is still a possibility someone could die because of the conditions. To have some roads that have not been gritted since the bad weather started a week past saturday is disgraceful. Pavements also still not cleared. How any elderly/infirm member of the public is supposed to get out is beyond me. Somewhere along the line there has been a monumental failure in the treating of the roads and pavements. Normally I would say that it would be harsh for someone to lose their job but Stevenson's "first class" remarks the other night mean he has to go.
  23. At least that in Linlithgow. Still awaiting a plough or a gritter.
