The powers that be should make it impossible for the “smaller teams” to get promoted imo. You might be the best team in the league and deservedly sit top of the pile after 36 games, but it means nothing if you don’t have a bigger support than the teams you’re competing with. Clown.

He’s a brilliant keeper. He had a lot of shaky moments initially, but he has stopped so many defeats (thanks Robin Veldman) from being absolute pumpings, and earned us points when we haven’t deserved them. As @Convenorsaid, he could’ve spat the dummy when he was dropped for a 16 year old, but his reaction and attitude has been top class.

So, so happy with that. Been in that position twice against Raith and came away with nothing. Such a cliche under a new manager but I thought we were so well drilled today. We didn’t have a bad performance imo and for a change (94th minute free kick aside) I didn’t think we looked like conceding. We desperately need another striker. Paton led the line brilliantly but when he’s knackered we literally don’t have anyone to bring on. Unfair on him. As well as his goal I thought Welsh brought a real composure to the team. Look a great signing. Only one game but things are looking up. PS: Raith TV is brilliant. The footage and the commentators.

I like to think Davidson coming in (ye know, an ACTUAL football manager) will give the players a boost and a bit of positivity. The whole squad has underperformed at points this season (Ferrie excepted) but it’s a clean slate now.

He isn’t out of contract in the summer though.

Aye, Hepburn was a massive disappointment. As shite as QP have been this season, it doesn’t excuse some of Hepburn’s performances. Easily pushed off the ball and mostly looked like he didn’t fancy it. That red card at Airdrie summed his time up. I know I keep going on, but we desperately need experience. Proven guys over the age of 23.

It’s an incredible achievement, one that probably won’t be done again if we’re being honest. But I understand where the St Johnstone fans are coming from.
