I think these folks were the last residents of Tryfield Place. Just before my time, it must have been amazing when a big crowd spilled out after a game. I think a former player used to live in one of the tenements as well.

The dislike of the local club is a strange one. I've always thought it was kind of to prove they are really committed to the team, as much as those that live in the locality of Ibrox/Parkhead. I've posted the picture below as I just find it bizarre.

Ayr v Raith in 1979. I really just posted it as you can see the old Black & White Shop on the North Terrace. It sold matchday programmes as well as older ones. If I remember correctly it also had other teams programmes as well, including English teams. Edit. Pre seggie fence also.
