The recent Hampden chat got me thinking of my favourite Scotland game. These two are probably tied. Both games at the old terraced Hampden too.

The Rangers nine in a row team were frequent visitors to Tobi Zaxx in Ayr in the mid/late nineties. I also remember seeing Kris Boyd, Allan McGregor and Alan Hutton in Chapman Billies in the town. They were quite drunk when I left so it came as no surprise when a few days later it emerged, in a paper, they ended up in The Black Bull in Tarbolton getting their heads shaved.

I once sold a Twister wrap to Ian McCall when I worked at KFC. I offered him a free drink but he kindly declined. I met Ian McCall in a petrol station in Coatbridge. Opening day of the season and we had lost 3-0. He bought cigarettes, menthol ones.
