Recent development. Since surgery in August, and PT for a week (my scabby insurance won't cover out-patient PT) Within 3 - 5 minutes of doing anything that involves being upright I begin to get severe pain in my back by my right shoulder blade. Could be muscular (due to loss of muscle/weight after being eviscerated) but the doctor sent me for x-rays just in case. Turns out I have signs of arthritic degeneration in the spine and also mild scoliosis. Ach well, back pain isn't terminal AFAIK.

I'm going to have to learn a new swing after the surgery last year and the fact that I have lost nearly 50lbs (27kg) so I'm an entirely different "shape". Should be fun!

Looks like I might have a few solo shots, but it's always difficult to tell because there's so many entries. Also my very bizarre strategy of avoiding most of the obvious, terminally ill, low hanging fruit is possibly a reason for this. Quite a few names on there that surprised me (looking at the spreadsheet). TBH, I really don't care if I win, it's just for puns after all.

TBH at this point I think Lampard or Slippy G would do better with our squad. Barry seems to be stuck1 on 13 players and no-one else gets a fair chance. You never know, there might be some genuine, Premiership-quality guys in the squad, but they nerver get the chance.
