  1. IF i still smoked then I am sure that I could have used the back of my fag packet more effectively than the current proposal. Maybe I could use a stamp!
  2. That is my point, at what juncture in the past have the visionary SPL chairmen looked past the end of their nose? Everything about Scottish Football has been short term. I would expect their attitude to be along the lines of: "there is nothing they can do about it now but next year........if we have finished 2nd in the league or have European Football they'll come back.....anyway we will worry about that in 12 months time.
  3. Apart from all the supporters that have now gone and purchased their season tickets based on the original No vote. They can't threaten to withold their season ticket money now can they????
  4. IF the SFL chairmen show integrity and vote for Newco in SFL3 then yes, vote for SFL1 then No Dun* will be in.
  5. Biggest non-statement yet. Sounds like they don't have all the information required to make a decision. Therefore they should voting against any proposals on this basis and not waiting to be railroaded by the SFA/SPL into something that they have not had time to fully digest and understand.
  6. Also interesting that Clyde state that there may not even be an application from Newco (perhaps they couldn't raise the £1200 non-returnable fee!) as they have no information. Another mea cupla from the SFL board in their administration....
  7. and as is the current way of voting in Scotland, insist on proportional representation so the SFL has 70% of the representatives. That'll f**k em.
  8. Come on now, no backtracking required.....it will be that we just move forward in a different direction and that just happens to be 180 degrees from the one we were going in but no backtracking here son.....
  9. It was the SFL that were to be paid for it, not buy it! The price being the £1,000,000 for the TV rights and the settlement agreement.
  10. So when Killie are asked to vote on Monday (after the SFL have said No to Newco in the SFL1 or no to Newco in the SFL completely) to admit Dun* or Newco. What way are they going to vote? Using Killie as an example but the same can be said for others such as Saint *, ICT, Motherwell etc. There is a vast difference in being without revenue for a year and being without revenue for 3.
  11. a) it does b) it does c) I am not in the prison..... any more, so watch your back
  12. ...believing that Rangers would be in SFL1, lets see how much brass is actually in their balls.
  13. I fear there are a number of SPL club supporters on here that may have to eat humble pie when their clubs vote Newco in to the SPL and sporting integrity goes out the window. If this happens it will be interesting to see; a) what changes are made to the voting system in the SPL b) how quickly the "agreement" made yesterday is kicked into the long grass c) how many days before the Daily Ranger hails the transformation of the SPL with its no relegation policy Stitch up away to happen and I don't see what will stop it....
  14. Re the Dundee situation. Surely they have to vote on this matter. What happens if they don't vote, Dunfermline vote Newco for the 3rd and then Dunfermline are asked to re-join the SPL or even worse the Newco are admitted into the SPL. Dundee would rightly feel agrieved at not voting AND getting shafted. All clubs stand to lose or gain by this according the the proposals, so therefore all clubs should be voting.
  15. Just re-reading the Peterhead statement and it looks like we know more than just fishing, integrity appears to be recognisable in the North East!! changes that were deemed wholly unworkable prior to Newco Rangers application to join the SFL after expulsion from the SPL. AND Although we are to come under severe pressure from bodies outwith the SFL to accept these fast-tracked changes to accomodate at Newco team and to hail this proposal as a 'blue print to safeguard the future of Scottish Football', we must retain our stance and those of the majority of our fans to vote NO. Get it right up yeh SFA/SPL.
  16. Ye fucking ha, Peterhead do the honest thing. http://www.peterheadfc.com/news/366-pfc-club-statement
  17. The SFA can impose any terms and conditions that they wish when transferring membership. This is completely different from the previous process that administered a ban where this was not within their power. The SFA have stated that they expect Sevco to pay off the football debts and accept the punishments applied to the member that was Rangers.
  18. Oh how the mighty have fallen, I am sure this is to get the club off to a winning start (possibly)!!!! Great way to christen a club.
  19. Eurozone 'risks losing 4.5m jobs' - see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18792720 I am assuming that this article is the latest by SPL/SFA on the consequences of Sevco being accepted into the 3rd Division
  20. I offer my complete respect to Raith and Clyde's positioning on these matters, it is the other clubs that I want to hear from. The honesty of the approach from all the clubs that have made comment so far has been refreshing but what about the rest of them, silence at this stage = weakness.
  21. Voting on the following: (ii) That the Scottish Football League Members direct the Board of Management of The Scottish Football League (the “Board”) to provide that Rangers F.C. shall play in the Third Division of the Scottish Football League during Season 2012/13 unless the Board shall have to its satisfaction negotiated and reached agreement with The Scottish Premier League and The Scottish Football Association on a series of measures which the Board shall consider to be in the best interests of the game, how it is structured, how it is governed and how it is financed, whereupon the Board shall be authorised to provide that Rangers F.C. shall play in the First Division of the Scottish Football League during Season 2012/13. No agreement has been reached on the substantive parts of: how it is structured, how it is governed and how it is financed As Longmuir stated earlier "a leap of faith". Would be acceptable if you hadn't been bumfucked by the very organisations that you are now putting this faith in.
