  1. So when Killie are asked to vote on Monday (after the SFL have said No to Newco in the SFL1 or no to Newco in the SFL completely) to admit Dun* or Newco. What way are they going to vote? Using Killie as an example but the same can be said for others such as Saint *, ICT, Motherwell etc. There is a vast difference in being without revenue for a year and being without revenue for 3.
  2. a) it does b) it does c) I am not in the prison..... any more, so watch your back
  3. ...believing that Rangers would be in SFL1, lets see how much brass is actually in their balls.
  4. I fear there are a number of SPL club supporters on here that may have to eat humble pie when their clubs vote Newco in to the SPL and sporting integrity goes out the window. If this happens it will be interesting to see; a) what changes are made to the voting system in the SPL b) how quickly the "agreement" made yesterday is kicked into the long grass c) how many days before the Daily Ranger hails the transformation of the SPL with its no relegation policy Stitch up away to happen and I don't see what will stop it....
  5. Re the Dundee situation. Surely they have to vote on this matter. What happens if they don't vote, Dunfermline vote Newco for the 3rd and then Dunfermline are asked to re-join the SPL or even worse the Newco are admitted into the SPL. Dundee would rightly feel agrieved at not voting AND getting shafted. All clubs stand to lose or gain by this according the the proposals, so therefore all clubs should be voting.
  6. Just re-reading the Peterhead statement and it looks like we know more than just fishing, integrity appears to be recognisable in the North East!! changes that were deemed wholly unworkable prior to Newco Rangers application to join the SFL after expulsion from the SPL. AND Although we are to come under severe pressure from bodies outwith the SFL to accept these fast-tracked changes to accomodate at Newco team and to hail this proposal as a 'blue print to safeguard the future of Scottish Football', we must retain our stance and those of the majority of our fans to vote NO. Get it right up yeh SFA/SPL.
  7. Ye fucking ha, Peterhead do the honest thing. http://www.peterheadfc.com/news/366-pfc-club-statement
  8. The SFA can impose any terms and conditions that they wish when transferring membership. This is completely different from the previous process that administered a ban where this was not within their power. The SFA have stated that they expect Sevco to pay off the football debts and accept the punishments applied to the member that was Rangers.
  9. Oh how the mighty have fallen, I am sure this is to get the club off to a winning start (possibly)!!!! Great way to christen a club.
  10. Eurozone 'risks losing 4.5m jobs' - see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18792720 I am assuming that this article is the latest by SPL/SFA on the consequences of Sevco being accepted into the 3rd Division
  11. I offer my complete respect to Raith and Clyde's positioning on these matters, it is the other clubs that I want to hear from. The honesty of the approach from all the clubs that have made comment so far has been refreshing but what about the rest of them, silence at this stage = weakness.
  12. Voting on the following: (ii) That the Scottish Football League Members direct the Board of Management of The Scottish Football League (the “Board”) to provide that Rangers F.C. shall play in the Third Division of the Scottish Football League during Season 2012/13 unless the Board shall have to its satisfaction negotiated and reached agreement with The Scottish Premier League and The Scottish Football Association on a series of measures which the Board shall consider to be in the best interests of the game, how it is structured, how it is governed and how it is financed, whereupon the Board shall be authorised to provide that Rangers F.C. shall play in the First Division of the Scottish Football League during Season 2012/13. No agreement has been reached on the substantive parts of: how it is structured, how it is governed and how it is financed As Longmuir stated earlier "a leap of faith". Would be acceptable if you hadn't been bumfucked by the very organisations that you are now putting this faith in.
  13. Fcuk me, are you Burley in disguise? On the subject of lost income. If Albion Rovers were to lose 8% of their income from not having Airdrie in the league then 92% of their income is not reliant on Airdrie and some of the 8% would be replaced by whatever team they played instead.
  14. Longmuir admits that the horse is before the cart and that they are taking "a leap of faith". Now wait until I find out which rule allows this........ found it, it listed under bullshit rule 1. - We don't have to adhere to any of our rules. I have to say that there is a decent chance that the SFL is going to break their own rules on Friday and I expect that this may lead to further issues.....
  15. Similar to the manner in which Ayr are trying to sell their new strips!!!
  16. Is that why Rangers went into admin, the BIG team gave the pishy little teams too much money? Or would it be that East Fife are a little team as they have little income and expenses unlike the old rangers that had large expenses and little (relative) income. £130m+ deficit says it all. East Fife are as far as I know solvent, which is more than can be said for Rangers.
  17. The proposal from the SFL to chairman will require different %ages on different items. Accept Newco into league - 50% (but only where a vacancy exists, otherwise 75% to accommodate 31 members) SFL 3 or SFL 1 - 50% Waiving of the two year notice period for Dun* to resign - 66% (rule 12 explicitly states this) 12. NOTICE TO RESIGN MEMBERSHIP No Member shall resign, retire or otherwise cease to be a member of the League unless it shall have given not less than two full seasons prior written notice so to do, unless with the approval of not less than two-thirds (66%) of the votes cast at a general meeting of the League. HJ - I await your contradictions
  18. The fact that you have a difference of opinion does not make my interpretation of this any less valid. I assume that you have legal experience and have run a company. If so you will know how articles restrict what can be performed by the officers of the company. Also Item 5 the word "league" in this context is organisation that is the SFL so how can 31 clubs be divided into 3 divisions of 10?????? In regards to not having to be in a division, Go and read the Articles again and tell me where is allows for a member to not be in a division, specifically 2.3 where the objects explicitly state that the organisation exists to provide a League Competition. These are the objects of the entity, ie what they exist for and must be fulfilled.
  19. Letter sent to my club: Can we get the official position of the club regarding allowing Newco to bypass division 3 and division 2. I am hopeful that we are sticking by your original statement and voting Newco to SFL 3 or nothing. I am sure that you are aware that there are a number of people that are un-willing to support Scottish football if the integrity of the sport is disregarded, I am one of those people and await a response such that I can commit to this years season ticket or not. I think that we should be ensuring that we are absolutely clear that we are not viewing this as a demotion of an SPL club but rather the automatic promotion of a new club and that all talk of parachuting should be replaced with rocket boosting! I would also ask what the SFL are voting for on Friday as there is currently no vacancy within the SFL for another member and changing this will require a 3/4 majority and not a simple majority as per the SFL regulation 60: 60. SUSPENSION OF RULES Members shall havepower by resolution passed at a general meeting by notless than seventy fiveper cent (75%) of the Members to suspend any ofthese Rules for adefinite or indefinite period of time and may adopt by a similar majority for adefinite or indefinite period of time, temporary Rules in addition to or in lieu thereof. Additionally, the following rules will need to be changed or suspended: Rule No/Reason 5 Constitution of the league 3 x 10 teams 8 Payment of non-refundable application fee (unless this has already been done) 22.2 No audited financial statements are available Finally there appears to be a misunderstanding on the legal standing of articles of association whereby the assumption that there is nothing in the articles that prevents the automatic promotion of a club to the highest division is incorrect. Articles determine what the organisation can legally do and therefore if something is not explicitly allowed by the articles then it not within the power of the organisation to do this without changing the rules and/or articles (requiring a 75% majority).
