  1. Apologies if it's been posted before http://oldpesky.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/tae-see-oursels-as-others-see-us.html?m=1
  2. Ahh - you get the point, my friend (and everyone else I hope) I can easily justify why I can say this - PM me and I will tell you why if you are so inclined..
  3. And I see the RM boycott of Hampden is already starting to pay off http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18869911
  4. Er, mebbes he was sent homeward to think again? Huge amount of question marks about how he clears the (olympic) hurdles for membership of the SFA. Check today's Herald for some clarity
  5. But wait! there's more http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/rangers-sfa-application-complicated-by-the-secrets-still-protected-by-sevco.18171168
  6. Once again, courtesy of RagersMeeja, this is what we can expect in D3 "All this talk of boycotts and protests got me thinking. What can we do to really hurt these people, and reap results in a very short period of time? Forget peaceful protests - they only take up police time and are forgotten about after a few days. Forget boycotting major sponsors of the SFA - it takes time to bring them down. So what can we do to show our strength, and let everyone know we have had enough? Boycott the small companies who sponsor SPL clubs! These small companies are sponsoring the very clubs who want to see our club fired into oblivion. Don't give these companies your business. E mail them letting them know why. The impact on such small businesses of a boycott would be immediate, and they would need to review their position, or go to the wall. Forget big businesses like Vauxhall and Sky (for now) and hit the smaller businesses that sponsor SPL clubs where the impact would be almost immediate. I may be clutching at straws here but I've had enough. I really have. And I'm desperate for action that will see immediate results" Er right then, Nurse will see you in a minute.....
  7. More outstandingness from some very junior BBC reporters tasked with keeping OrcAgenda/SPL to the fore (and failing) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18861381
  8. Er, no, news just in... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18838540 And Cockwomble's doing PR for retail inScotland now http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-18854603 Social unrest anyone?
  9. But they do still manage to slip 'financial armageddon' into the piece...
  10. OK, couldn't resist it, you'll have all lost your bookmarks, a reminder of the incisive journalist at work.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKV88nEMu50
  11. Well not sure of their agenda here, but they are tackling it in the business section......http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-18841950
  12. I am old enough to have purchased this as an ElPee, and after listening to the Blessed Mcleish on OTB today, I would be surprised if there was a steamroller attempt on Monday. Prologue, August 29, 1968- Somebody http://en.wikipedia....rld_is_watching "Someday (August 29, 1968)" Would you look around you now And tell me what you see Faces full of hate and fear Faces full of me Do you feel the rumblings As your head comes crumbling down Do you know what I mean Run, you better, run you know The End is getting near Feel the wind of something hard Come whistling past your ear As they try to get you Where it will upset you Down Now you know what I mean Someday you will see how long We've waited for the time To show you how we've died To get together with you all Twist and turn your head around 'Till everything's unclear Twist and turn your arm around Until it is not there And they'd love to burn you Or at least to turn you around Now you know what I mean Can you look around you now And tell us what's to be Can you look inside yourself And tell us what you see As you feel the rumblings As your head comes crumbling down And you know what I mean Someday you will see how long We've been waiting for the time To show you how we've died To get together with you all
  13. OK, let's take Alex T at his word. Monday comes, and the usual supects overrule today's democratic decision. What happens - punter reaction, general public (non-footie), sponsors etc, ? Given the current banking rotten-to-the-core image, is this now likely to happen? Thoughts please ..

  15. He's a proper journo, the panel was v one sided. Now here's a point of order - check out the closing statement on the RepScot item at 18.30 - 'tomorrow could be Black Friday for Scottish football'. So - does that mean it will be that if Rangers get into SFL1 - or if they get put in SFL3 - or everyone overriden by the SFA and newco put back in the SPL? I think we can guess what the statement meant (by a BBC employee) so editorial bias is shown. Get on the phone after you check it out http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01kpjx4/Reporting_Scotland_12_07_2012/
  16. We must be listening to the same bit! http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/scotland/scotfoot/scotfoot_20120704-1927a.mp3
  17. Er sorry, second last post, just watch STV go on this one... I'm no pancake expert but I know a tosser when I see one..
  18. Old journo alert, funny how there is very little coverage of today's meeting on the bbc website. Unusually light coverage. Barely visible reportage. Conspiracy? You bet. That is all, one and only post....
