  1. This VAR level of accuracy thing - nearly demanding quantum physics levels of measurement - is BS. No one ever questioned a human beings ability to judge off side to that degree, including the exact moment when "the ball is played or touched". What VAR does do is show up where human error has occurred and corrects it. Completely? No, but on the whole, yes, it does.
  2. Anyone that fancies a day of sitting outside on a nice day with your mates getting drunk from 11am to 7pm, international cricket is the correct option.
  3. Compared to the Dons, Hearts played like they didn't really care.
  4. Correct. The vicinity of the foul has lead to people saying he is pointing for a penalty. He isn't. Then he points upfield indicating a foul against the Dons.
  5. He doesn't point at the spot. He has already blown for a foul, pointed at where the foul was committed and also then pointed up field to show it was against the Dons. This was going on before the CCV stuff. Go and watch the multiple camera angles. VAR had no need to look at it.
  6. Correct. You can see him pointing upfield before any of the rest of the events.
  7. Camera angle behind the goal shows the Ref had already blown for a free kick before any of that happened.
  8. Great finish. Ridiculous amount of possession for Celtic since the start of the 2nd half yet it is an enormous effort needed.
  9. Celtic should have this game won but they could blow it as well!
  10. Great ball. No idea what happened on the Celtic right. Attacker wide open. Celtic losing a few scraps in midfield now.
  11. Neat finish, I thought there was a deflection, keeper a bit slow. Been mostly Celtic so far.
  12. Not much of a game after the equaliser. Other than the VAR incident it has been a scrap really.
  13. Clement made the rearranged games sound like he was having to replan for Barca and Real rather than the Dees and Ross County.
  14. Watching highlights RC were causing Rangers huge problems against both full-backs. Leaving them for dead in the build up to scoring.
  15. Seems to be an awful lot of experienced soil mechanics engineers here tonight. I can tell by their comparison of two different areas of ground and the analysis "the ground over there should have the exact same drainage as that ground over there" Devastating insight.
  16. Rain all day and night forecast from lunch time tomorrow. It will get the nod probably, no matter the state of the pitch. Will be interesting to see how it copes with play when actually raining.
  17. The problem there is that a dry period is forecast then the forecast is for it to start to rain around 4pm tomorrow and through the night, just as the covers come off.....
  18. This game will be given the nod I suppose. I think the real problem is that steady rain is forecast in the lead up to and during the actual match, which could be fun.
  19. A must-win. A loss here and I can't see Raith getting the points back with only 4 to play.
