I’d much rather my player got game time at a highland league team looking for promotion than a league 2 team looking to avoid relegation. This is a very decent move for him.

Brody Paterson is an absolute stick on to sign. Whether he’s an upgrade on Liam Dick is a bit unknown.

Unless the question involves the lowland league, McKay is not the answer. By all accounts he seems a nice enough guy and he’s never let us down in terms of effort but he’s a mile away from what we need, even as a ‘reserve player’.

To be fair to Tx, Dick did start on the left of a back 3 vs Kilmarnock before we moved to a back 4 with Mackie coming off. I can’t help with any of the other stats, mainly because I don’t have the time nor interest in doing so, but he’s right on that one.

Despite illness limiting his selection, I am very surprised we didn’t start Arnott and keep the midfield 3 that we’ve pretty much used all season and kept Poplatnik or Gullan on the bench.
