Fans of the ‘small Uniteds’ (Ayr, Lochee, Manchester, etc) should never refer to themselves as “United fans”.
We had the name before you lot (and are a true United since it was a merger of two clubs). Bloody Dundee Hibees.

No links to Scottish, Northern Irish or Welsh football on the BBC football website anymore?
There are. At the bottom of the page.

Well, I am not 100% sure if it still is but as you say it at least was at one time. I just assumed it still was because the pitch looks bad.
More likely it's because it's below a canal basin, plus the copious amounts of rain recently.
Glasgow Warriors moved out in 2012.

Its hard to see what happened to him from the footage, he has a weird landing position but then tried to make a follow up save and his arm moves freely enough, he doesn’t make contact with anyone when he lands on the follow up.
He went off with his arm in a sling, he’s maybe jarred it and went off as a precaution but I don’t understand why it would be in a sling.
Maybe to keep Raith guessing up until 2pm to see if we are playing a keeper or not.
It wasn't a sling as such, but his own shirt being used as one. After receiving treatment from the physio, he stood up and moved his arm and shoulder about. Something clearly happened because it looked like an involuntary jerk to his shoulder and he had an expression of pain on his face.

Wonder what kind of team we'll put out v Hibs reserves tomorrow. Bet365 offering a cracking price for us to win. Surely worth a punt considering we've played quite a few first teamers in reserve games this season, and from what I've seen Hibs have predominantly been playing kids
In our last match the oldest player was 19.

St Johnstone game we were 2 up and Brian McGinlay absolutely lost the plot?
Gave St Johnstone either 2 or 3 penalties as well as that daft Bryce decision and had a masked mob waiting for him and he needed a police escort away from the ground.
Anyone remember J C O Hares inept performance away to Stranraer? Sent Cammy Duncan,Tom Woods and Neil McKilligan off. I remember Stainrod was absolutely losing the plot on the touchline
McGinlay gave St Johnstone two penalties, the second of which was the last kick of the ball and was thankfully missed. As well as Tommy Bryce he sent off another Ayr player (Jim McCann?) and Mark Treanor of St Johnstone, although that was for a head height tackle.
I'm sure Jim O'Hare only had one season at Grade 1. One season too many.

Aye as I was writing that I was sure she wasn't from London, but there's definitely a statue of her somewhere (Serpentine?Hyde Park?) notable in London so I do tend to associate her more with there.
Thanks for the info as that was annoying me for a bit .
It's in Westminster, close to the Houses of Parliament.

Two full tiers up from our usual National League hunting ground. Browns wee pal Maloney wouldn't send us up a dud. I've got faith.
Same level as Senga and Young came from.

We lost the game to them last winter when it was farcical conditions.
Were 1-0 up and then second half they got the wind behind them and won 2-1 I'm pretty sure.
Was a cross from virtually the pitchside of the North Terracing that flew straigh into the top corner because of the wind
It finished 2-2. McGinty scored late on.

You don’t think Jordan Houston is at least as good as McAllister?
I don't. And Ahui is better than both.

Jordan Houston would easily start for us which is a sad indictment on the state of this squad.
We’ve got maybe four players in our entire squad that would start for other teams in this league. None of them are getting into Raith or Dundee Uniteds team though.
Don't talk utter keech.

I think we've got very lucky to get the penalty. Offside is tight.
Not really. From the Colin Weir Stand it was clear that Muirhead kicked Bryden.

Am sure playing in York will make it alot easie for him to attend sports day in LONDON.......
It does actually. It's 2 hours by train, and more than half the league is either in Greater London or within reasonable travelling distance.

Folk writing Ahui off after 45 minutes. He might turn out to be a dud but give me peace.

Yep, Voluntary Park ground/dog track is long gone for housing development. Dam Park was going to be taken over and redeveloped by Ayr Rugby Club. However they've since announced plans to do work on their current home Millbrae. Unclear why Vic's are having to vacate just now.
The rugby club still intends to take over Dam Park. Talk of them using it for their youth programme. I'm not sure whether the latest development is down to them or whether the council has decided to abandon Dam Park since it has no further use for it.

Bullen is a head coach by all accounts, and is assisted by Davie White, who is the academy director. Unsure of his coaching qualifications but as far as the input goes goes it’s more corner boy carry on genuine tactical coaching. Could argue he mirrors Bullen rather than contrasts him.
David White is Head of Academy, rather than a director. He has a UEFA A Licence.

Surprised that’s not been mentioned actually, particularly after Callum commenting on how well he did and McGeady getting it tight for that goal - woeful goalkeeping!
Look more closely. He reacts to the first effort, which McGinty blocks. The ball then bounces off the Livingston player, leaving Mutch with little chance.

First part of 84/85 (although bizarrely the team wore a different shirt for part of the season) and 85-85. Can't remember if it made to 86-87, but the away kit did. It was a yellow and blue version of that strip.
