Queen’s Park v Raith Rovers
CathcartSkins replied to FitbaSupporter's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Every game is a must win, for supporters. Managers likely to accept a draw if all square going into the last 10 minutes. We should be full of confidence going into this one, defensively stronger, creating chances and with more depth on the bench since we won in Kirkcaldy, in what was CD's first game in charge. 2-0 win for QP. -

When it comes to signings confirmed for next season, I hope and pray the first one is CD himself. -

Hampden, and for the avoidance of doubt, that is big Hampden. -

We will embark on a mad winning streak, finishing 4th (on goal difference) with a last day thumping win over Airdrie. High on momentum, we fly through the play-offs becoming the first 4th place team to win promotion to the big league! -

Appreciate your efforts and time spent on this; however those that attended the AGM commented on the very points you have raised, a few pages back. -
Airdrie v Spiders

QP are long overdue a victory in this fixture, 1-0 for Queen's. Should be a good game though. -
Aye, it did. If the ref had stood up to the playground thuggery antics in the same manner the QP players courageously did, then there may have been the chance of some football breaking out. As it stands, am happier to be watching our players under CD each week than ever having to endure Doug's dugs!

That is beginning to look like a solid back three. Especially pleased for Tizzard, took a lot of flack early in the season and he has fought his way back. -

Very poor refereeing decisions to be encouraging diving. That said we do tend to create more opportunities for the opposition than they do themselves. -

QP first goal looks even better than I remembered it; the build up, Cammy's first touch and the strike for goal. Sunday mornings have not felt this good for a long time. -

The seeds have been sown for us to now enjoy something we have not seen for a few years, and that is a strong second half of the season. -

Am sure that we were warned about the errors of our way when we took on Billy Stark from St Johnstone and that turned out all right. -

I do genuinely feel sorry for the players. They are having to bear the brunt of of the pent up frustration felt by supporters at the inadequates that have made the decisions these past three seasons. -

I can only hope and pray that those that matter right now - the players - have clarity and peace of mind to be able to focus to get themselves out of the relegation places. -

It could be that the said absence of communication is due to the final t&c's being agreed with their preferred first choice replacement. -

A lot to agree with; i would however put forward a defence for the tinkering at CB, which can in part be put down to two red cards. Subsequent suspensions leads to tinkering. -

Have some faith and watch what is actually happening on the pitch. We will be nowhere near League 1 with this squad of players. We have an increasing number of players with first team minutes and with Savoury and McKinstry still to contribute. We will finish this season strongly, something we have not managed in recent seasons. -
Keep on keeping on, to the very end. I see us getting to grips with what Robin expects of the team.

Agreed. This young squad - whilst acknowledging a month of poor performances - have shown resilience and fortitude in recent weeks. Am encouraged by their attitude and do not doubt that they are up for the challenges ahead. Also, whilst I have questioned past substitutions, Robin continues to trust the Young team, not many managers in similar situations would do so. -

If the women's team played at Lesser, am sure plenty folk would turn up to support and this would generate income. And would playing at our own ground cost less than paying to play at someone else's ground,?
