  1. Selkirk possible demise

Sad this has to happen to a community like Selkirk with its true border traditions and opportunities for youngsters to play football.I...I know it is a traditional rugby stronghold that has produced many great players but surely there is room for a flourishing football team in this beautiful area of Scotland...Lets hope they survive for the sake of the non rugby players.
  2. Bonnyrigg Rose 2018-19

Don't own one of these phones.
  3. Bonnyrigg Rose 2018-19

My mistake...it is confusing all these fixtures at once...maybe a complete list will be handed out at NDP for the supporters to keep up to date....or are you one of the privileged ones who has been given one and are a step ahead of the rest....but everything is going along well at NDP in every department it seems from all reports.
  4. Bonnyrigg Rose 2018-19

Still got your dunces cap on I see.....still got the wrong guy...….sad.
  5. Bonnyrigg Rose 2018-19

Thought you would have known the kickoff time for the league games..?..but to keep you right its 2.30pm....3.oopm next week with the Scottish Cup. game at Hawick if you are going.....believe there is a bus going.
  6. EOSFL match attendances 2018/19

Head count Penicuik v Crossgates..including subs etc 140.
  7. Arson Attack

Funny how Fifers have always disliked Ayrshire junior teams..I wonder why...but at the moment he is leaving me alone with his juvenile remarks...so you are welcome to keep him....
  8. EOSFL match attendances 2018/19

Think the phrase is * Ground Hopping* around the Lothians clubs with an occasional visit to see the big matches at Hawthornden. Spreading my coppers about a bit this season.
  9. EOSFL match attendances 2018/19

Appreciate your points above...The Novelty factor will be with us for a few games depending on the *New* opposition coming to call and still the holiday season...Just raised the point because a perusal of the new teams websites indicates an upsurge in Season Ticket purchase..,renewed interest from local businesses for pitchside advertising and matchday sponsorship this season..Player sponsorship was always steady in most clubs but it looks as though the clubs are going to have a good bit extra cash this season. and that's a good thing for ground and spectator improvements towards the Licensing criteria..if they are going along that road. Good luck in your quest for attendances this season.
  10. EOSFL match attendances 2018/19

Now the seasons started in earnest any indications that the crowds are bigger or about the same as last season for the new clubs in the EOS.
  11. Linlithgow Rose 2017-18

A good summary of tonights game and remembering where the team has come from at the beginning of the season to finish runners up in the Super League then the momentum is with you and the incentive to win a piece of silverware after that start gives your team an added incentive.. I don't swallow the Bonnyrigg line that you have been given preferential treatment with no mid-week games against their programme over the last few weeks.....it was the pitch against Penicuik when we were soundly beaten...Lets hope we have a referee who isn't full of himself tonight......
  12. Junior football, what is the future?

You cant help yourself..can you...collect the waste if that's what you are paid to do.....For your information the Remembrance Day episode was on Saturday 31st October 2015 and we played and beat Bo,ness that day 3/1..your Official was chastised by a mini-bus of Boness supporters who arrived in the Calderwood car park for his remarks and then they proceeded to give very generously to the 3 lads and girls collection boxes..thats a fact that I have never forgotten......no class.and still hasn't any...by all means align yourself with him if you wish...I repeat just in case you have over looked what I said previously about the 2008 regime..they were no friends of mine and had never been..is that clear..but you are good at mistaken identity... Again .nothing positive to say....when have I criticised the present Officials and Committee for their work since the near oblivion in 2008....you cant point to any time at all but you wouldn't give me any credit for it...would you. You ARE beholding to the Social Club for the free use of their car park on match days whether you like it or not...that fact gives them bigger credence in my eyes than you give them credit for.....So much for their Dinasaur mentality.Tell me what you would do if you didn't have that free use on match days...Maybe there will be a change of... Dinasuars ..at the Social Club and they decide to be recompensed for their long standing generousity…...Y ou would probably fire off some other obscenities in their direction as you do now...your problem is that they have made their club a great success......again with hard work and the football club officials don't like that because you were willing it to fail because of an infantile dispute between you.....But that's how BIG clubs react when they don't get their own way isn't it......no decorum sums you up. Robert......again good luck next season and may all your eggs be golden ones as promised....and by the way I don't stand on street corners in the town..like you I have a living to earn but you don't accept that either......someday you will grow up....hopefully in the not too distant future for your sake.
  13. Junior football, what is the future?

Your silence has made my day on these topics now to enjoy my holiday and sign off from this thread..and leave it to the people who are trying to make positive contributions to the future of the game and not try and score personal points with someone who has made his mind up for next season ...its still a reasonable democracy we live in..and we still are allowed personal choices......again enjoy your new adventure next season and good luck to all at New Dundas Park..players and management team along with the Board and hard working Committee members...hope it all works out for you.
  14. Junior football, what is the future?

That clears that point Gordon S ..the majority of the clubs entering the Pyramid wont reach that level..yours being an exception I would think in the long run.
  15. Junior football, what is the future?

That installation could make a big hole in any clubs finances unless this is also a grant aided item..but even so..a big expenditure for the moving clubs.
