  1. i thought until about 10 mins ago that it was the harry ramsdens cup more apt as theres something really fishy about all this pandering to sevco going on and that journalists name us Barry Didcock hahah
  2. I know its been asked on here before but has anyone managed to come up with an answer yet? HOW MANY OTHER COMPANIES IN THE WORLD "NEGOTIATE" A PUNISHMENT? Surely its just a case of the SFA saying "this is going to a panel who will judge, take it or leave it?" To be fair, the NEWCO dont really need to accept any punishment because its a totally new company and Rangers dont exist anymore. So surely its Duff and Phelps who should be arguing to have titles kept as it really isnt anything to do with Green. I do think, that these punishments transferring to Newco is some kind of trade-off for the fact the newco dont actually meet new entrant to SFL conditions.
  3. "If he caves and takes the transfer embargo you will see crowds nearer to 10,000 at best" because signing ian black will ensure sevco get a 40k crowd? rangers fans are known for being "loyal" - but its the distinct lack of loyalty to the club (or shell of club) that is killing them, not the rest of scottish football as is trying to be made out. old rangers operating costs were £1m a month, but that will be a lot lower now the big earners have scuttled off, the cash to run the team and murray park etc will still be massive compared to any other 1st, 2nd or 3rd division team. INCIDENTIALLY on the Sky deal, are sky really trying to say that them providing 4 Old firm games each season is what brings in punters subscriptions? that big Mick from Walsall was going to be £45 bean a month but the lack of old firm action made him think it wasnt worth it!? bollox! Surely if they stick the cameras at rangers away games then the same audiences will subscribe? - lets face it, and i dont mean this in a bad way, but the "glamour" of seeing Stmirren v Rangers is somewhere close to having "Peterhead v Rangers" on the Sky planner for audiences outwith Rangers fans themselves. ANOTHER THING if its part of the deal to show 4 old firm games why not schedule 4 old firm games then to tie in with International weeks, or pre-season home and away friendlies. the fact they will be more sparse now will make the clamour for them all the more when they do come around. and i can almost guarantee there will be 2x old firm games in the cup competitions this year anyway with the hot and cold match fixing - and reagan and doncaster doing the draws haha.
  4. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/dont-take-away-my-title.17952798 its ok everybody - Billy Dodds had never heard of EBT's so it wasnt cheating. its not a crime until you get caught. oh, wait a minute.... "I don't care what the SPL tell me, they can't just decide all that is null and void" YES. YES THEY CAN WILLIAM better get some new varnish because when you have to remove the tainted medal you won from display and stuff it in your sockdrawer im assuming there is going to be an awful lot of lightfade in the patch it creates on your tropy shelf deep mahogany should just about cover it
  5. "On the issue of licensing, I think once we see who/what is behind blue pitch holdings the SFA cannot refuse a license as we will have shown to Duff + Phelps what we need to in regards of a fit and proper persons check (which the SFA themselves failed to do with Whyte after they were informed that he was not paying taxes by Traynor and HMRC failed to flag up until nearly a year later instead of after the first missed payment)." There is a lot of criteria that Sevco simply dont have, 3 years trading and profits and loss accounts etc. They are being given special treatment to parachute into division 3, if i was spartans or any other lower league club busily working away always looking for the door to the big boys league to open and this happened i would be turbo threaders! A lot has been made of Green paying off oldco's football debts (which i think is a shame on the non footballing folk owed money) and this is not an obligation, its more a compromise from Green to ensure there are less hitches to getting an almost "special" license. Its funny how quite a lot of rangers fans seem hellbent on wanting to destroy every other club for the "punishment" they have dished out, however the truth is there has been a lot of rulebending to get the newco into ANY league in Scotland as the space opened by old Rangers demise would ordinarily mean a good few junior clubs state their case to get in, and if rules were to be adhered to they WOULD gain access over Sevco's application. So there has not been any real punishment yet, Rangers are out of business, amd a new company formed look to be shoehorned into the vacant space they have created. Again - how can rangers have played yesterday and what name did they play as? they dont have a license, therefore the players wont have insurance, and they also dont have a name yet that has been accepted by companies house.
  6. at the start probably 40k+ at Ibrox but by the traditional christmas lull probably half that attending. thats IF they get a license, i'm still not convinced they will play anywhere this season. John Brown seems intent on causing civil war when he doesnt even have any cash to back it up and that wont help either. For the record I think Green is probably a decent guy who seems to stick to his word, but he is being undermined every time by people who think they know better. fans groups, ex managers, and of course ex players. I actually cant believe the press run with John Browns story, he has no cash, no credibility and essentially, its like me starting a savings fund to try and raise enough cash to buy rangers, there is no merit or anything to what he has said.
  7. As far as I can see Bomber Brown, 2 weeks after marching to the steps of Ibrox and speaking AT the orcs saying things like "trust me, the money is there" and all the rest of it, now he is trying to get a fans takeover started with £40k of his own cash, that old buggers season book money he managed to pilfer and "maybe" barry fergusons money too? And he is meeting with bankers this week to try and get more cash for a buyout. Seems to me like he hasnt ever had any money and IS BORROWING again to try and buy the place. so at £40k investment from old players, simply to raise £10m and, say he pays off £6m to Green, he is left with £4m - but to raise the £10m he needs 2,500 ex rangers players or "rangers minded" fans to invest? the guys a delusional belter! also - how could sevco play the friendly yesterday without any SFA membership?
  8. So the old Rangers can commit a load of crimes "one step away from match fixing" and the new company set up from its ashes can electioneer outlining a list of punishments THEY have suggested? and everyones panicing because of Sky money, which bodes a question again, even if Rangers do end up in the SPL, and get relegated or suffer diminished crowds does that mean they would not be relegated if they were in a relegation position at the end of the season? If the go in the SPL does that mean that theres still going to be this "season ticket boycott" or will they go and buy them in their droves again? Only in Scotland eh?
  9. also, interestingly, its "rangers men" - david murray, craig whyte who had the club round its ankles, and other notable "rangers men" walter smith, bomber brown who are continuing to bring the club into a murky civil war whilst a "non rangers man" who was the only one to take the risk/punt and who outlines where the rangers men of past have gone wrong and is willing to dig in for a long battle to repair it gets the wrath of the support. you really cant make it up!
  10. it is well boy, but is it the final deadline, or the FINAL deadline, or the FINALFINAL FINAL deadline?
  11. That is genuinely frightening! Bomber has NO financial nous whatsoever, no backers from what i can see and is happily taking cash from an 82 year old? Greens already said he isnt for selling or walking away, so whats going to happen to that coffin dodgers cash? ive got to wonder if brown was selling double glazing or something and just so happened to see that this guy had a scarf round his oxygen tank or something?
  12. Looks like the gungs being held to their heads, accept rangers in first division or we will bite off our nose to spite our face and not reconstruct the way that almost everyone agrees is best for the future of football in scotland. Also, i would like to see the SFL have balls and stand upto SPL and if they try to make an SPL2 then SFL clubs dont agree to join it. The solution is so simple. New Rangers into 4th Division (if they can even get a team and business sorted in a 4 week period!?), reconstruction of leagues. Sorted.
  13. Also, if the majority of SFL clubs, and i do hope it is the majority, object to Rangers going anywhere but the 4th division then what kind of set up would "SPL2" have? About 6 clubs in it? Why does scottish football have to accomodate a club that doesnt even have a name just now and is involved in the most vicious of infighting? Why cant the leagues change FOR THE BENEFIT OF SCOTTISH FOOTBALL also - of note, i see that they are saying the game will not survive if Rangers dont continue. That is absolute horseshit. The new Rangers will not have half the support they used to have after a season of mixed results on the park, IF they even get on the park next year. They are doing a bloody good job of ensuring that they never re-emerge from what I can see. ALSO - HAS CHAZ GREEN PUT HIS DOCUMENTS INTO SFL YET (DEADLINE DAY TODAY REMEMBER) OR IS THIS ANOTHER "FINAL FINAL DEADLINE" SCENARIO HAPPENING?
  14. I like the big list of "pro's" almost bullying, well not almost, OUTRIGHT bullying the clubs to accept. where was the negatives? ie - KISS GOODBYE TO 75% OF YOUR GATE AND MERCH SALES YOU CHEATING b*****dS
  15. Bomber Brown being a dribbling madman again, He's like some drunk battering on about inconsequential things such as owning the title deeds. I GENUINELY dont think he has any investors now whatsoever as he keeps going on about fan investment now since his two other investors were linked to Celtic. the daily rager going on about season ticket money "going to Sevco" well new rangers dont have a name yet, who else is the season ticket cash going to go to? the mind boggles
