I saw a video of Dibu Martinez when talking about the World Cup final and he told Dybala to do the exact same thing in almost identical circumstances with his penalty: The opposition had just missed their penalty so the pressure is on the keeper and he’s going to look pretty stupid if he stands still so he’s going to pick a side. Fair fucks to the keeper for saving it.

Is there an official term for a young person that goes through a dog phase? There seems to be a trend when the person has competed uni/travel/partying where they then focus all their attention on getting an expensive accessory dog breed that they parade about for a while before they have children or get consumed by their careers and then the dog goes to being a massive inconvenience that they get someone else to look after in their later years. I see this all the time and the chap in the picture looks like the perfect illustration of it.

I dont think Liverpool will - a few tricky away games particularly Villa and then spurs at home. I think city will draw a couple and Arsenal will lose to Man Utd.

Man City have the best fixtures except Spurs away which is always tough for them. Don’t think Arsenal will beat Man Utd at old Trafford. I can’t see anyone getting full points from their remaining games which we have seen in previous years so it’s quite exciting.

I’m the same - after seeing any team win the league time after time I always want to see a change. I remember the utter horror show of watching Dortmund throw away the league on final day last season so I’m delighted Leverkusen are going to win it this year. I still think City will win it this year but would love a change.

I don’t think the game had absolutely everything - was exciting at the end but pish for large spells, particularly trying to watch rangers string a few passes together in first half.

You’re completely right about him diving but VAR is designed for these decisions to be black and white and it’s clear to see there is a kick to the knee. I don’t know how much football people have been watching of late if they actually believed a ref wasn’t going to give that.

If you have a bug bearer it should be about VAR in general because no way is a ref going to be able to look at that and not award it when it’s a clear boot to the knee. Nothing to do with what team it happens against a ref is always giving that.
