I too was surprised that Lennon remained at the club and I think has played in every game since the incident. He seems to be enjoying his football here so he’s maybe just not letting it get in the way of that.

Personally I don’t think Finlay has been as good as I would have expected this year. He played well last week but there have been quite a few games this season where he hasn’t shown what he is capable of. last week was much more like the Finlay of last season where he is still surging forward with real pace in the closing stages of the game and then managed to make the correct decision with a fantastic pass through for an assist. Too many times this season he has made poor decisions when on the ball. Too many touches or just not finding a man with the pass. He hasn’t been the only culprit of that mind you. Hopefully he continues on from where he left last week because he is a joy to watch when he is on his game.

I agree, don’t rate Adams at all to be honest.

McGinn has been playing a strange game tonight. It looks like he is taking every opportunity to get his arse involved and invite pressure into himself when there has been easy passes on.

I’m sure I remember Blair scoring a belter of a free kick early in the season and was surprised he hasn’t done anything since, considering the amount of decent free kick opportunities we have had.

Obviously it would be ideal if he were to do a fans meeting or something like that but to be honest, he could do most of the communicating through website articles or using the clubs social media. It doesn't need to be a case of standing in front of the fans to make every announcement. Dumbarton are a small club and there is no excuse for zero communication when it comes to things like league expectations, artificial pitch plans etc. Edit to add: I'm not having a go at you or anything but a person who is "a current trust board member, we've had semi-regular meetings with the club board" is very much more "involved at the club" than most people.

That's the date I was going off. The club really are shocking at communication. Why is it some fans on here have this information but none of it is being published to the wider fanbase? I get that some people like BSF are more involved at the club and might know more but why can we not announce any updates however small with things like that and be more inclusive. I'm sure everyone would like to know more about the bigger picture ideas like this instead of constantly blasting out sponsorship opportunities every day.

If the club really are looking to get an artificial pitch installed, which I highly doubt to be true tbh, all this bad publicity of late really won’t help any potential applications for grants and funding. Especially when advertising it as a community hub.

One of the most moronic posts I’ve ever read on here. Surely the prime spot for the playoffs would be 1st or 2nd and not 4th? Why on earth do you consider our rivals to be 5th place and not Stenhousemuir, Peterhead or Spartans at the top end of the table? Ironically, it’s the happy clapping fans like yourself that are the bigger danger to this club than the fans that you are calling negative and destructive.
