  1. I take real Offence at the idea that the only Reason Supporters have reacted they way they have is cos they all hate rangers and we want is a chance to kick a big team when they are down. There are rules and Morals at stake here. Wouldn't matter to the vast majority of supporters what club it is - fact is there is precedent for this kind of thing and rules set up for them that have ben bent and re-written to shoehorn one club into an advantageous position. All supporters are more than aware that Sevco not getting in the SFL or even getting in Div 3 will have a short term dterimental effect on their own clubs finances, even to the point of administration but they think its the right thing to do. Supporters are willing to walk away from Scottish League football completely if Regan and Doncaster get their way. To think that they are doing this just cos the hate Rangers is an insult and typical of the Red Top type headlines we have had to put up with in the MSM. Thank goodness we live in the age of Social Media where these kind of lies and deceptions can be shown for what they really are. There......Feel better after that.
  2. I completely Agree, but This is an opportunity to make things better and if we can get out of it what Fans really want to see and Newco have to start at the bottom that has to be positive?
  3. I was despairing that Div 1 was looking a certainty a few days ago but i really think things are moving in the right direction again. In thinking about the situation i am positive a deal can be hammered out that can work. If you consider moving to a 3 League system its not beyond the realms of possibility to put Newco in the lowest League next year, for promotion from that League to be into the new second Tier. That would mean that if Newco were successful they could be in the top League within 2 years. Combine that with proper play-offs, voting structures and financial distribution would most folk be happy?
  4. Yup, i had exactly the same feeling earlier in the week about the SPL stuff. The Board statement however is completely spot on. I am sure they must have hired someone lately at EEP who has great writing skills, cos the JJ statement a few weeks ago was also really well put together and impressive. I was not a happy Par the last few days and regretting my Season ticket purchase earlier in the month. This has given me some renewed faith in the club and whats likely to come at the end of all this.
  5. OH MY GOD- I AM GOING TO AGREE WITH A FALKIRK SUPPORTER - SEE WHAT OLDCO HAVE DONE!! I suggested something similar the other day with the end result being 3 Leagues with NEWCo applying for the bottom of that. To me it would be the fairest way of dealing with the decsion on who to have on the SPL as well. My preference would be to get Rovers in as well, but i cant remember where they finished last season
  6. I Really don't want us involved in legal opinion here and going to battle with either the SPL or Dundee. Both have a case and it both should just wait on the SPL deciding who to ask to be in the SPL next season. Then we move on. unlike some others TBH i would be gutted if we went up - last year was not the easiest stuff to watch and i was looking forward to the first again. Rovers, Dundee, Falkirk and Cowdenbeath all basically derbies for us. We are planning on building a new squad and dont particularly think the bottom of the SPL would be the place to do it.
