  1. It's just kids so chances are you wont hear if any of them do sign.
  2. It's Gordon Bannerman reporting it and while I might be wrong I am certain he is a reporter from Perth? No idea why if it was all done what has changed?
  3. My personal thoughts on the whole saga are - Both Dundee and Saints wanted him. Both offered deals which its rumoured variously by Saints fans that we offered more in terms of wages but St Johnstone made up for that in bonuses etc. Add the fact May preferred to go back to Perth and obviously play in a higher league. I would imagine with Saints first few results pressure was on Brown to sign May and likely made another offer in light of our offer which swung the balance. If May/Vine were pushing for more money then all of a sudden Saints are interested in Cummings (few Saints fans saying they can't afford to have both) which I wondered if that's come out to try and force May's hand to accept what Saints offered otherwise they will move on. Again this is all the impression I get and I could be wrong but feels like a standard game of cat and mouse between player and club which will eventually find middle ground and a deal will be made. Obviously you will know much more than me. I just know the rumours that 1. May failed a medical in Perth and 2. He was at Dens yesterday are absolute nonsense.
  4. Code for he's signing for the Saints today haha. DCT have zero clue what's going on and have pretty much taken their story from the Daily Record. Stories about May failing his medical etc utter nonsense. 100% will join St Johnstone within the next day or two.
  5. Didn't fall through, he played in a closed door game with the youths and went home after it. Was never offered a deal.
  6. Glad I am not the only one to notice that haha. McPake also said the player is in top condition ha. I think he's most likely trying to find another move, especially as we were trying to bring both Forster and Turner in. May would be a good signing for us but with both Perth & Paisley Saints & Utd also interested I don't personally think we will be seeing him in a Dee shirt anytime soon.
  7. Pen was def a draw. Didn't Lovell scored both in that 2-1 iirc. I'm positive Carranza fk was in a defeat. The only 2-0 win away to Hearts I can mind was when Jocky was in charge - Darius's double. Beto's free kick v Hearts come in a 3-1 defeat at Tynecastle. The game where Lovell scored the winner in the 2-1 win over Utd at Dens shortly after admin, Nacho Novo equalised in the 2nd half after Charlie Miller put Utd ahead in the first. Beto's Derby penalty come in a 1-1 draw at Dens.
  8. Yeah I was surprised when I heard at the end of the season too.
  9. Higgins wasn't offered a new deal Ludo so didn't have much of a say about going.
  10. TBF Keyes hasn't given any interviews and McCann didn't say anything either so the Tullys "sensationalized" Keyes and McCann discussing the budget is total guesswork. A DCT reporter witnessed McCann and Keyes meeting and shaking hands before the Cowden game but unless he can lip read or had either bugged its totally just nonsense. I would agree though that any deal for Meekings considering the player has been at Dens for 4 weeks would already budgeted for. In fairness to any potential incomings McCann did say in a presser last week should a player he liked become available he could add. Personally I think any additions (bar Meekings) will be after either Haber or Hateley leave the club.
  11. McCann confirmed on Friday that Hateley was missing due to an injury. The fact we only had 2 fit strikers on Saturday while Haber played for the u20s speaks volumes IMO. Is he really out the door or was there a fall out after being left out v Raith? Either way while Haber is at the club and we only have 2 fit strikers he should be included IMO.
  12. There are also the following classics - And another favorite -
  13. IF true that Meekings has been at Dens the last 4 weeks either getting fit or proving his fitness at least prove's under McCann we are learning. Previously and even under PH we were dishing out long contracts to crocks. Young, Low and some will even say McPake after getting his bad injury examples. Still can't believe we gave Low a 3 year deal after a number of injuries at Aberdeen.
  14. Think you are right Harry. I would say as it stands Haber is 3rd choice striker at Dens. If he gets the chance on Saturday then hopefully he takes it and puts pressure on the other 2 to perform.
  15. No but post match he said having a squad with depth meant players will need to impress to be selected but having 4 games in 2 weeks meant the squad would be used. So with that I expect Haber and Hateley will most likely feature on Sat along with a few others that were on the bench last night. Haber is prob unlucky to miss out but I thought Faiss did ok against Bolton and deserved a start last night. Did him up top on his own work last night? No but with McCann looking to get Moussa involved even though not fit enough to play 90 minutes Haber had to miss out. I fully expect Moussa either up top or Faiss alongside him once Moussa is match fit. Deacon and Wolters need to continue getting game time so they can adjust to Scottish football. Last night wasn't pretty and we are far from the finished article which McCann acknowledged after the game but there are few good positives there.
  16. The rumour and I use that term loosly is Celtic release him. As I say no chance we will sign him.
  17. I get the impression McCann is looking for an out and out goal scoring target man. Especially if we play 1 up top. I could be wrong but don't see Schalk as that type of striker although he's always looked a handful when he's played against us. As for Ciftci signing absolutely 100% no chance.
  18. Cheers, wasn't sure I just remember Ferguson was back at Dens at some point while we were in the 1st Division.
  19. Back row - Irvine, Rogers, Not sure, Big Rab, Magee, McCormick, Raeside, Tully, Rae, Not sure. Front Row - Maddison, McInally, Anderson, Sir Barry, Annand, Grady, Not sure (Ian Ferguson?), Adamczuk.
  20. Perugia was amazing. Spent all day in the square drinking and getting sun burnt then nearly froze to death at the match. All the locals lined the streets to see 2k+ Dees being piped through the streets on the way to the buses. Would love another Euro adventure.
