Clyde vs East Fife (Take Two)
DFCdownsouth replied to Replays's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Yesssss Aggy!!!! -
Surprised he even came out as that to be honest!

Agree with this - coverage and commentary has been great. Really hoping there is some form of streaming going into the future for folk who live far away, though I realise that it's unlikely. Also, any problems I've had (barely any) have all been dealt with promptly by the club. Thanks guys!

Duffy's Dumbarton Duffers v Peterheid
DFCdownsouth replied to the snudge's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Our goal lured me into false sense of hope only to be (predictably) shattered. Can't see us coming back from this. You can bet that Clyde will go and lose to East Fife on Thursday now. -

That was rank to watch but absolutely buzzing with the result!! Will wait to see what happens with East Fife and Clyde now.... -
Clyde v Dumbarton

He can't head it, he can't run, he can't shoot, he can't control it and he can't score. What's Duffy seeing that we're not?! -

How Jones gets a start is beyond me. Offers absolutely nothing every week. -
Anyone having trouble getting on the streaming site? I'm getting an 'internal server error'

Dumbarton vs Cove Rangers

Haha I thought the same thing about the cost hanger [emoji23] Much better performance so far than recent games. -
The last thing any wants are smaller crowds but I do wonder if that actually would be the case. As far as I know, no one has ever tried it so there is no way to know what effect it would have. I would like to think that the people who already attend games would continue to do so - going to game is so much better than watching on the TV and I bet locals would continue to attend. It would be interesting to see it trialled and tested. If it didn't affect attendances and gained revenue for a club it would be a no-brainer, but obviously without testing the idea out, we won't know. I get that it would be a bit of a risk for anyone to test it though as if it did affect attendances, whoever is trialling it would lose out.

I'm with you on that one. It's been brillaint for me this season being able to watch all the games. I usually only get to a handful a season, if that, and now with a 1 year old, the 600 mile round trio is even less likely! Obviously I want fans back in too but I will be gutted when I can't follow as closely as I have been this year. What do you think the likelihood is of streaming continuing after the pandemic? I for one would happily pay the price of a season ticket to the club if it meant I could watch all the home games. If there were enough takers from far afield then it could generate some extra revenue for the club as people like me wouldn't be paying for match day tickets anyway in a normal season due to the distance involved. I guess it depends on how much it costs the club to stream games vs people paying to watch the streams and also the TV licensing rules (which in my opinion are a bit of a farce when none of the games are ever shown on TV)?

All very worrying reading above - it's good to see we have fans that have information on the situation and can fill the rest of us in so we have more understanding of what is going on behind the scenes so thanks for that. On tonight's performance - not great at all but expected. Great job on the commentary though fellas.

East Fife vs Dumbarton

No need for a refund. Managed to watch the whole game and the second half quality was much better. Good of them to offer though. -

My audio has gone too -
I may have misread it in a rush but it looks like you have to purchase today's game before 10am this morning to get a stream. Like I said I may be wrong but worth a check if you see this before 10 - I know ones there's only 9 minutes left but I've only just seen it myself!

Over Wif-fi but the router is not too far from it.

I use the PS4 and I've had no trouble at all. Good quality pic and the commentary seemed to be in time all the way through.

Agree - Jones offers very little and for a big bloke, he can't seem to win a header! -

Excellent win. We looked really well organised again.
