  1. Red Bennett knows exactly what the f**k he is posting on the forum. Just about every post he submits is worded to get bites. He knows exactly what is going on down Ibrokes way but is happy to post fabricated pish, shite and nonsense to wind up posters daft enough to try and have a grown up sensible well constructed conversation with him. He's a c**t, but a funny one at that at times.
  2. Yes yes Hibs are raking in some money from the extra gate increase. If you had read my post slightly different then you'd agree that Hibs would make far more money if they had drawn a bigger team where Hibs could sell more and command more money for the tickets as well as bigger TV revenue and bigger brand name advertising and could easily earn far more money than £280K. Not saying playing earlier in the competitions won't generate income but if Hibs reach the last play-off round to the group stage then Hibs will be raking it in big time and we are talking millions instead of hundreds of thousands here.
  3. Iirc it is much more profitable to enter at the later stages where the bigger clubs come in to compete. Most clubs are likely to make little or no profit from the earliest stages. The level of competition from the smallest leagues won't sell tickets at a higher price and ground capacity is likely to suffer if the competition is full of part time hairdressers, plumbers, lawyers etc etc. And then there is travel & accommodation to pay for when the prize money for the first qualifying round isn't much better than the next few qualifying rounds. Sums go up by increments of ten thousands if I'm correct. £200K plus in 1st qualy and around £260K for 3rd qualy round. So only getting £60K more for two qualifying rounds after the 1st. Teams that enter nearer the group stage are usually the bigger clubs from the bigger leagues and to play in that part of qualifying could end up being a nice wee earner as profits grow from participating and beating better supported clubs from the bigger leagues even if it's with fewer games to qualify. Also the prize money starts to increase substantially at the latter stages of qualifying.
  4. You should read my posts on Ragers Media. Can't decide which of my RM accounts is the best to quote for you.
  5. Aye MT, sure you don't know. No need to explain what the content of most of your OF posts contain MT. I worked that out years ago mate.
  6. Folks! I would not be surprised if the Glib petitions the shareholders to sign a document that they would not accept the offer if the offer was given. Would be a banterific moment from the Glib in a desperate attempt to con the court because he doesn't have the money in the first place. He'd try to slither his way out of jail time by motioning that he only needs £16.90 to buy from the only person willing to sell and there would be no need to put £11 million into a UK bank account and is having problems setting up one of the most simplest things you can do in the modern world. Would be fucking hilarious imo.
  7. Basically King has been told to make the offer or he might get the cold shoulder from them denying King access the banking facilities and the services of an accountant. Supposedly an effective method of compliance but in Kings case Rangers don't have a banking facility and neither do they possess the services of a chartered accountant at the moment. So the Takeover Panel and the Court couldn't even burn the glibs neck red with a blow torch as things stand and as far as King is concerned it is the sum of f**k aw to even get bothered about. An itchy arsehole in public would be more of a nuisance to him at this point in time. He'll do the bear minimal to evade being in contempt of court, no doubt he is trying to syphon out the money he gave as loans to the clumpany to rest in his fictional UK bank account before swiftly proclaiming to the bears he has acquired additional funding from his personal wealth and becomes the blue Messiah again. All hinges on Kings ability to place the £11 million into a UK bank account to make offers to the other share holders to sell. We all know that most of the shares won't get taken up and King might only have to buy a few million pounds worth but his ability to have £11 million in the first place shows he doesn't have it at the moment.
  8. ^^^ Spitting actual feathers out. You don't have a clue about the business world do you? The more high profile the game in Scotland ie regularly qualifying for the group stages for 3 or more clubs and the acquisition of better quality players to compete in said groups attracts sponsors and also funnily enough more viewers. This is how the business model works for all the leagues in Europe. As for lucrative sponsors you so readily shot down as fanciful crap would come from TV sponsorships and product advertising because our clubs would be regularly competing against the bigger well known clubs in Europe from the bigger countries which have far more viewers than Scotland has. It is simple economics but your blind bitterness of all things unfair with the OF is clouding your rational thinking. As for paragraph 3? why should we all bother? I'll give you tens of millions of pounds why Celtic bother and play along with it as things stand and also is the fuel that stokes the rage inside your posts.
  9. Most of us now know that UEFA and the big leagues are going to shut up shop completely to countries like Scotland in the future, it is inevitable. But unlike MT I'm not going to get bitter about it and post shit like I hope Man Utd, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus etc don't qualify n aw that. In the future European outings in Europe for Scottish clubs will be just about pointless with over 100 clubs competing for scraps at the big boys table. I can envision not bothering my arse about European footy because none of our clubs will ever be able to compete fairly and possibly the odd qualification once in a blue moon. Might be pish the way things are going but that's how the corporate world is nowadays.
  10. I hope QoS win the Scottish Cup in the near future so that I can read through your posts bleating about how you got your wish and that if Scottish clubs had done better QoS would have gotten an easier run or, congratulating all the other clubs for raising the coefficient so much QoS got seeded in the later qualifiers or even better, qualification straight into the EL group stage. Whether you agree with me or not I'd rather all our clubs do as best as they can to raise the coefficient so that our game attracts money for all our clubs from lucrative sponsors. What you are advocating is detrimental to the game as a whole ffs. At some point in the near future the big European clubs and associations will eventually suck up most of the prize money and places the smaller clubs and associations can compete for. I wouldn't be fucking surprised if they create a total shut out with all the smaller clubs competing for one CL group spot and one EL group spot whilst the bigger clubs and associations get 10 clubs automatically inserted into the group stages of both competitions, 5 in the CL group stage and 5 in the EL group stage.
  11. I'd be awfy grateful if you could post the excerpts and quotes from the SPL commission that will support your demented ramblings Benny. As MT has already posted they got a fine for breaching both the associations rules & regulations on registering players but unfortunately Rangers weren't caught in the act in doing so. And luckily enough both associations had changed their rules & regulations when they eventually got pulled up for it, the SFA & SPL were so stupid they wrote into their rules & Regulations that they couldn't punish clubs retrospectively like they could have done with the previous seasons set rules & regulations. Imagine that eh? Changing the rules & regulations so they can't punish clubs even if they are guilty of breaking the rules aKa cheating. Either a conspiracy or stupidity? you decide?
  12. Am I right in saying here that you are using the five way agreement to bolster your argument in favour of Sevco here? The very same five way agreement you and your fellow supporting **** claimed was illegal and should never have been signed in the first place. ****, thick as pigshit.
  13. I know the The Rangers aren't the brightest bulbs around, but? Who foots the six figure legal bill if Sevco get landed with a paltry £5K fine? And going by previous court shenanigans it is usually Sevco that end up footing the bill.
  14. You rang? Smoke screen and mirrors at work. Only the SFA could try to punish The Rangers knowing full well they made rules and regulations changes so they could not hand out fitting punitive measures in advance. My only hope is the SFA have fucked things up so badly that the club they are trying to protect get fucked over by an administrative error in the fudged up new rules and regulations they didn't quite cover by overlooking a small piece of wording. Most likely just going through the motions of satisfying a fringe of the Celtic support still fuming over Rangers not getting a decent burial. whilst at the same time maintaining the siege mentality at Gestapo HQ in Govan that everyone is out to get them.
  15. Nah, that wouldn't work at Ibrokes. 1, Con the fans by history & traditions and using the stop Celtic at all costs reaching 10IAR. 2, Release weekly, monthly and even daily statements about every other club or c**t and how they are enemies of the Gers. 3, Throw money about like it grows on trees and claim that debt is really investing in the club and is f**k all to worry about. 4, Hire some people to fire at a later date when things ultimately go tits up and then go back to number one, rinse and repeat as many times the stupid **** will believe.
  16. We can't all be witty one liner geniuses like yourself Bennett.
  17. There was something I noticed about the new strip deal with Hummel from The Rangers. Knowing how King likes to tell everyone who he got one over on Ashley there is the distribution & supply of the merchandise. There isn't one mention of the club having total control of the kit deal in his press release. Is this Ashley still having control over the clubs kit deal and Ashley still getting his cut and by what percentage? Is Ashley the sole distributor? Knowing King he would have crowed this from the rafters that the club had complete control of any kit deal and that the club would be controlling the distribution themselves.
  18. What planet does squinty eyes live on? This is just complete Babylonian speak from him. There is no way Celtic will fold over from one failed season in Europe, their business model is more likely 2 or 3 seasons of failure in Europe before cutting the purse strings and shaking the biscuit tin. This is just the Gestapo HQ in Govan feeding to the **** what they need to hear so they part with their hard earned Giro's for the upcoming season. It's probably more like if this season is a failure for the **** then they will fold over financially because they didn't learn anything from the last Rangers chasing rainbows. I am astonished once again they are pinning their hopes on some European success rather than get their shit together and live within their means and use any extra money to boost or bolster their squad. The man is insane.
  19. Aha?, I think I just cracked it. Kings devious manipulation must be to purchase the shares he got forced to buy for his concert party gig and then flog the shares he was forced to buy in the new share issue back the the c***s he just bought them from. Probably at a higher price than he bought them initially. Fucking genius I'd say, the **** will think the money will be going into the war-chest when in fact it is just all smoke and mirrors so King doesn't have to actually spend any money at all. King makes a possible £6 million in the process to loan back to the club to be converted into shares at a later date increasing his stranglehold on the club. And the **** will lap it all up not knowing they got shafted again.
  20. From the BBC website. Nearly £21 million in debt and counting. I wonder how much Sevco had to pay back to the Close Brothers for their Wonga type short term loan?
