  1. All this does is keep McKinnon in a job.
  2. Absolute disgrace but nothing else to add that hasn't already been said. Board need to be hounded for this. Does this mean we can sack McKinnon now?
  3. Reading all of this, combined with the total lack of transparency and communication coming from the club, despite the fans continuing to back the team in their numbers whilst being treated like peasants, makes me feel sick to the stomach. Remember the 'root and branch' review? Remember the promise of openness? We're in the third tier with a fucking diddy as a manager, a team who looks like they have never played together before, with a board basically hanging about, providing no information, taking the piss. In its current form, Falkirk Football Club can get to f**k. Sick of it.
  4. "decent safe pair of hands" Maybe making a pie and beans but not managing a football team.
  5. 1. Not yet, but hopefully soon. 2. Not at all, because the fucking clown isn't playing him. 3. Due Diligence due to be completed in -2 months. Everything's going to plan, cheers x
  6. Can't wait for the 9am statement tomorrow saying he's gone. "Falkirk FC can confirm that Ray McKinnon, and his assistant Darren Taylor, have both left the club with immediate effect after their contracts were terminated." Maybe. Please. I've even written and spellchecked the start of a statement, so they don't have to!
  7. By the way, I know we're not 'far off the top' (embarrassing to be saying in League One), but it isn't like we have been playing well. Last week we were shite; it's just that Peterhead were an absolute gang. Even in the 6-0 game against Dumbarton, the only game I've seen this season where we actually looked like a coherent team that might click, a huge amount of it was down to Dumbarton being garbage. I'm not so arrogant as to expect to win 4-0 or 5-0 every week, but with the league we are in there is a certain style of play we should be adopting, we should be swamping teams. We might not win EVERY single game, but no one should be coming to TFS and turning us over with ease like Clyde did today. Any team that beats us should be having to play exceptionally well. Clyde were good today, but they outplayed us largely due to our own shortcomings. We are far too pedestrian. That falls at the door of the manager.
  8. Well played to Clyde, who were fantastic today. Lennon has had McKinnon’s number twice. I think we’re incredibly predictable and easy to play against, but it still requires turning up and putting the game plan into action. Clyde should have won by more. Particularly impressed by Grant and no.10 (don’t know name, apologies). As always, clear to see Goodwillie has played at a higher level too. Fair play. As for us, holy f***. I actually can’t be arsed analysing any of that, it was just so terrible. Who watches that game and thinks Longridge is the one to take off? Would have been down quicker if it wasn’t for a Bell wondersave in the first half too. Second half was just as bad, slow and pedestrian. The only positive from this would be McKinnon leaving. He has completely knocked the stuffing out of me, I can’t be bothered with this team anymore. Looks like he’s done this to his playing squad too. Pathetic.
  9. Still stand by what I've said that even if we win the league, McKinnon should not have his contract renewed. Get a proper manager in for going back up. Without meaning to sound arrogant, Mickey Mouse could get us into the top 2 or 3 this season with the budget we have, and winning the league shouldn't cover the fact that McKInnon isn't the man for the job long-term. I honestly believe he would have been punted after relegation had he not a) cost so much money to get in the first place, and b) been too expensive to sack anyway.
  10. Sure Ray will be making sure we compete against the Rose.
  11. We are genuinely muck and if people are happy watching this shite then count me out. Bored out my tits.
  12. First thing we could do would be getting a manager in who actually utilises the squad at his disposal, isn't content to "compete" at galaticos like Raith Rovers, and actually attacks teams instead of being happy to shitfest 0-0's against the likes of Peterhead and Airdrie.
  13. Can we actually do something about getting rid of McKInnon, like chanting for his head instead of sitting on our hands? Along with the boardroom drama, he is killing my passion for even watching the 11 on a Saturday.
  14. Even if we stumble to winning the league this season, McKinnon's contract should not be renewed. He isn't the man to make us competitive in the Championship either.
  15. "Proven we can come to places like Raith and compete." Just f**k off.
  16. He has to go. Honestly. How much longer are we going to let him do this?
