Not disagreeing with this at all, but what pissed me off was the fact he totally threw the towel in by the end of the season. I previously thought highly of Alston, and that really dented my opinion of him.

Telfer is better than some of those still under contract at the club. However, like them, he ultimately isn't good enough for what we need. Both can be true. He showed sparks of being a really talented player, but it was all too infrequent.

I don’t think McCann is any kind of world beater, but tbh I think even Andy Robertson would struggle at LB if he had Paul Dixon, Aaron-Taylor Sinclair, Ben Hall or Brad McKay playing on his inside.

There has been so much to justifiably attack the club for over the last few years. But, when you start having a go because the CEO sends out a tweet giving a very basic update, or because of friendly opponents celebrating one of the clubs best ever players, it becomes increasingly obvious that you're not having a justifiable moan, but instead you're a torn-faced b*****d who will never be happy with anything the club does. Have a break ffs.
