What I quite like about the squad we have now is you can make two or three changes if some players aren’t performing, and it doesn’t weaken the team at all. We’ve actually got a bit of depth. Can’t complain with that line-up - up to them to perform now.

My only worry there is you’d get a 6/7/8-0 and that completely derails the league campaign. Probably shortsighted, but I don’t give a shit about cups this year. Any run, of course, is welcome, but we simply need out this league this year.

As poor as Burrell was on Saturday (was at fault for the goal, too), the midfield didn’t support him in anywhere near the same way as they have been in previous games. Think it would be harsh dropping him but I think it might happen.

The way I see it - a disappointing performance where we didn’t reach anywhere near the heights we’ve reached in previous weeks, but nowhere as terrible as some are saying. It would be nice to win these games and solidify ourselves as title contenders, but given last year where we consistently folded in games like this, taking a point from a tough venue where we didn’t play very well is a pretty okay result. The league campaign is long and if we draw these games away and manage to beat them at home, we won’t be too far away at the end of it. We move on to Tuesday.

I believe that Morrison is a greedy b*****d and can be incredibly wasteful, while also thinking he's been one of our best players this season and we're a better team with him in it. Talk of dropping him is mental.

McGlynns subs there were boggin. Hetherington for Oliver is bizarre and Burrell, while not having his best game, offered a presence up front that we didn’t have when he went off . Still looked like we could nick it though, but pretty poor performance all round.

The way McGlynn talked when Burrell signed, it very much sounded like a one year with the option to extend. They spoke about it on Falkirk Daft and I’d tend to agree, I think he’s worth putting another deal down in front of. We’ve seen enough from him already.
