  1. By the way, last few years that would have petered out to a 1-0 loss, not a problem. We didn’t look like scoring for 80 mins, but we’ve dug a 2-1 win out of nowhere. That’s character a Falkirk team haven’t had in years.
  2. also John can we play with actual strikers now thank you xxx
  3. Higginbotham wasn’t so fucking chirpy at the end was he fucking up ye
  4. YAAAAAAASSSSSASS I LOVE IT YOU RUMARN
  5. Long way to go but this has been dire
  6. Bit of a shiter. https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/falkirk-fc-body-blow-for-bairns-as-boss-john-mcglynn-says-one-of-his-january-signings-faces-lengthy-spell-on-sidelines-4011795
  7. That Covid season was entirely bizarre. Teams showed us a great deal of respect in the first half of the season and we were on top, despite being garbage. Once teams cottoned on to the fact that we were absolutely w**k, the wheels fell off.
  8. John McGlynn clearing out the deadwood as if it’s the easiest job in the world. Some boy x
  9. Another observation I’ve just had: we are three points behind our total tally that we finished last season with.
  10. I know that the past is the past and we're looking forward etc etc, but it is interesting to see Aidan Keena moving to English League One for an undisclosed fee after being the top scorer in the Irish Premier Division last season. Not good enough for us or simply an other victim of the shambles we were in?
  11. If you’d said to me this time last year I’d have very strong feelings for Brad McKay x
  12. A great win today. First half we were far too pedestrian, but McGlynn obviously had words at half-time and the first half of the second period we were flying and scored two cracking goals. I have to say I’m still not convinced Oliver as a lone-striker is a long-term answer, but he was much better in the second half and he took his goal superbly. From looking like we were going to go on and score more, the game slipped a wee bit away from us when we made the subs. I don’t think it’s overly negative to suggest Burrell might feel a little aggrieved not to have come on following his recent run of form and tbh that’s the change I would have made, but I’m not in charge (thankfully!). We ended up seeing it out pretty comfortably and it’s a fantastic result given Clyde unexpectedly getting a result too. If we keep this up, we might be in with a chance, you know.
  13. Hahahahahaha literally shoved over in the box and no penalty fucking hell
  14. Much, much better stuff this. Think McGlynn must have had words.
  15. Hopefully the last we see of Oliver up front on his own. Not having it at all, sorry.
  16. I'd start Burrell but I think he'll go with Oliver.
  17. From the way McGlynn is talking, I'd be surprised if we see Paul Watson play for us again
  18. Lawal signed a one year deal with an explicit option to extend. He's shown more than enough to be kept around - he's by no means the finished article (he wouldn't be with us if he was), but he's one I'd definitely keep. I agree, I'd also be offering Burrell a new deal too, considering he was only on a one year contract.
  19. The additions have been one thing (and very, very welcome) but I’m very impressed at quite how much deadwood he’s managed to shift in a January window. Massive kudos for that.
