  1. Give me a new starting GK, Tait and Oakley as your three summer bits of business to add to the current squad and I’d be delighted.
  2. We’re absolutely, humongously, uncontrollably massive.* ^
  3. There is also something nice about being able with to watch the playoffs having already done your business though!
  4. Not meaning to be too harsh as I know we're all on a high etc, but the signing of McKenna does make keeping Oliver seem a wee bit more confusing to me, especially when McKenna seems an upgrade in that position. Oliver is a undoubtedly a tidy player and McGlynn has more than earned the right to decide if he wants to keep him or not - he might think professionalism/balance of the squad is more important in that respect. Just in my own humble opinion that I think it's a wage that could have gone elsewhere.
  5. I'm glad, but it's still second fiddle behind Clement throwing a tantrum in a post-match interview. Pretty pathetic from a national broadcaster tbh.
  6. I get your point, but I do think there needs to be a bit of slack cut for that when we talk about those few weeks, tbh. That Airdrie first leg remains the worst I have ever felt after a Falkirk game - it was uniquely, cataclysmically bad, and fans were feeling angry and looking for someone to lash out at. The board made the call, it was the correct one and it's paid off in remarkable style. Absolutely delighted for him - he's done a brilliant job this year and has given the club it's pride back this season. The fans are more united now than I can remember at any time following Falkirk. Roll on the Championship.
  7. Also, get it up the BBC whose headline was purely about Docherty and McInnes and will now have to give this its due coverage.
  8. Should ask Leverkusen for a friendly btw. Worst they can do is completely patch us off but worth a shot xx
  9. Also worth pointing out that with McGinn leaving, we wouldn’t have a single player signed over the age of 30, with Coll being the oldest at 29. I seriously doubt McKenna has been brought into to play 36 games from the start, but he knows the level and still has something to offer, too - he’s 33 and it’s a one year deal. All good in my opinion.
  10. Well, I think that looks a lot more like it...
  11. There’s so much to say, but before it slips my mind, fair fucking play to Brad Spencer taking that penalty. He must have been absolutely shitting himself, I know I was! Typified our season. Love this team.
  12. Falkirk FC INVINCIBLES. THATS THE FUCKING STATEMENT.
  13. What a buzz about the place. Enjoy your day Bairns
  14. Have to say, to be where we are less than a calendar year after the Airdrie debacle, where I just felt totally scunnered with the entire club, is some effort. Really looking forward to tomorrow and a culmination of a lot of hard work from everyone involved in the club.
  15. Said it before but only season I didn’t renew was the Sheerin/Holt/Deans shitshow as by then I’d had enough of the inept leadership, terrible appointments and arrogance emanating from the club at that point. As soon as Deans, the rest of the board and Holt got booted, I went back. It was terrible, but I did feel somewhat vindicated in my decision at the time, especially around the time of *that* Q&A. Genuinely thought going bust was a possibility at that point given the way we were headed. What an effort to turn it around by everyone involved.
  16. It was initially pencilled into be 150 before they upped it to 300 if I remember correctly. Suppose the whole concept of “limited edition”, manufactured scarcity etc is that some folk will miss out. Not a big deal for me as I was never going to get one, but I do think only 100 online when we have a big support not all living in Falkirk is a bit unfair, so understand why some folk are a bit put out.
  17. How many weeks now has McIntyre squeezed the *** out of the most boring hypothetical of Watson vs Barron? He’s taken to asking every c**t, all who respond with a non-commital “it’s tough they’re both two gid young boiz”. Tiresome.
  18. Apologies and hold my hands up if folk thought I was was encouraging a pile on, certainly wasn’t my intention. Was too harsh in the immediate aftermath of the game and too strong in my comment. My bad.
  19. Bisland will be lucky to be playing League Two next season. An absolutely howling footballer
  20. Gold medal at the Olympics for that divethese refs man Actually think we’ve been pretty poor but should still be about 4 up. Sums up where we are at this level tbf
  21. Starting the petition to have the return of gold badge/lettering on next seasons kit, because, if done properly, it'll look a belter. And what better time to do it after waltzing to a league title! Every faith in O'Neills to release another brammer, but gold on navy blue is fucking SEXY
  22. I get folk have their opinions on Burrell and that's totally fine, I get it, but scoring 21 league goals in an absolutely bowfin Cove team is a decent effort. It's also voted on by the players tbf. Morrison will win it. Obviously.
  23. One of the only good things about being totally rancid for years was it was so much easier to go for a pie and a pish in the stadium than it has been recently. The trade-offs of success I suppose…
