They are 3 year deals but with get out clauses.
If the player doesn't play a certain amount of games they get shown the door after a year.
Millar and Cairney are prime examples of that last season.
According to one of the papers he didn't play yesterday because he isn't registered yet.
But could he not have played as a trialist yesterday to bypass this?
