  1. After Mr Custard, anything is possible. And given the apparently endemic financial corruption that has thus far been unveiled at Ibrox, the above strikes me as being entirely possible, if not altogether likely. That said, it would conform to BarcaBhoyes 'beyond belief' classification on the RTC. I'd bookmark this page, conspiracy theorists.
  2. Does this perhaps however open the SFA up to a civil case? Would be tremendous if they did get expelled as suggested; perhaps they could apply to the Eridivisie with Celtic?
  3. I watched it too - Sutton was obviously unable to watch the game but he certainly wouldn't have known that, after Rangers took an early lead, we actually equalised (a fizzing Davide Grondin free kick if I remember right). That said, after five minutes I could tell we were going to take a tanking (just as we had several times against the Old Firm that very season, something else that escaped Elbows Sutton). Your point about Killie was something I observed that very day. Even if there was something sinister about that game - and I obviously hope there wasn't - it would, at this protracted stage, take some effort to prove it.
  4. Think it's abridged, but doesn't seem to be a podcast. Most of it is the debate mentioned in earlier pages, Mark Daly reaming Chick, and suggestions of far worse to come. Last mminute or so is of some old, ugly fat jakey who wriggled out of his pish-stained straitjacket and was invited to give his opinion on the Rangers saga. He answers to both 'The Goalie' and also 'The Flying Pig', un-coincidentally.
  5. It's on SoundCloud: Chick Young: International-Class Trumpet Even considering his long-standing, poorly closeted yet furtive masturbation over the Berrz, I am stunned with the veractiy with which he still defends Rangers. The section where he suggests they should hide any remaining evidence of wrongdoing is breathtaking. Chick may at some point protest he is trying to give the debate balance; he is not. He is defeding the indefensible. Jim Spence, on the other hand, is excellent in this clip and should be commended for his presentation of facts as facts, and not trying to sensationalise his latest exclusive.
  6. He should watch the whole damn thing! Closest thing he'll get to a laugh for the next wee while. John Lambie is an effin national effin treasure. He's your effin Leishman. The half time pep talk he gives in that clip is motivational bromide. "Ma back three are f**kin slack as f**k". Legend.
  7. I actually think it's one of those things everyone on here should read. If it turns out that this is the core of the mushroom cloud, it will make the enjoyment of the moment all the sweeter for understanding it now.
  8. Was very funny - asked Der Berrz if they would now sing 'We were the people' and 'We didn't do walking away'. No death threats ensued, just casual bigotry and child-molestation based innuendo.
  9. It was a while back now - I just found it again though. The source is, of course, questionable, but there are a lot of parts of the puzzle that seem to fit. I remember hearing things around the time that all of this was happening that are actually recalled in the linked article below. It's a long read, but it very possibly could be the tip of the shitberg towards which RFC are hopefully heading. My hope is that it doesn't inadvertantly implicate my own club, though if it does then it would be hypocritical of me to want anything other than a fair punishment (I should say an embargo on the Pars signing players worth more than £10m would be just). Hold on to your hats
  10. Initials GM? Walked away with a gargantuan golden handshake from the Bank when he retired which he squandered largely on the excesses of a certain perma-tanned manager who bears an uncanny resemblence to Bernie Winters? There was something about this posted on here a few hundred pages back; it struck me as a bit far-fetched in places but credible enough to be possible.
  11. The part that struck me as most poignant was at the very beginning, showing that Murray bought the club via exactly the same means as Whyte; with someone else's money. I think the section regarding Grier was actually very important, but its effect was reduced by the nature of such maneuvers being essentially very dry. The suggestion that Duff and Phelps are effectively suing a part of the process in which they were involved is demonstrative of how shonky the whole gig is. The PR phone interview was highly shit and completely unnecessary in what was otherwise a pretty well-structured hour of TV. I reckon there's plenty more to come out but potential litigation is preventing full disclosure just now.
  12. It is a bit, though. Either way, we could argue this endlessly to no great advantage either way. I'd rather just be hypnotised by your always tremendous avatars, for which you should be commended at every opportunity. I would imagine most people who support Falkirk do so because of some affiliation with the 'town' itself. I could speculate at length about people's reasons for supporting the Old Firm but in summary it tends to be due to some sort of insecurity in their lives, a religious affiliation, a gloryhunting component, some parental loyalty, or just general cockwomble-ism. Not that I'm saying it's a decent thing to be a Falkirk fan, mind.
  13. A fair point. For example, you're a Celtic fan that actually lives in Glasgow; a rare species indeed.
  14. Glad you've cleared that up for me - except it's utter tripe. Sad to think that you've a) just made up why Yorkston said what he did and b) you actually believe it. After all, John Yorkston's position on the Old Firm has been pretty consistent, saying in 2002 in relation to the SPL TV debacle that "The Future's not Green and White, and it certainly isn't Orange". As long as you're comfortable with the position of your board being one and the same as the other chairmen you malign i.e. we can't survive without Rangers. I think you're trying to put a smokescreen up, and the very thought of Lawell supporting the survival of your hated, cheating sore of a rival actually appalls you. But only you know the answer to that - and it doesn't worry me either way. Still waiting for the punchline - or should that be the 'there's no show like punch'-line (honestly, your manager is a complete berk)? And actually, you're talking more tripe here - the ten teams actually did resign until the OF agreed to change the voting rights. So, Sir Laughalot, is that enough collective balls for you, or would you like to talk some more?
  15. Excuse me? My club's chairman has very much implied he will be voting for sporting integrity above suckling at the blistered teet of Rangers. Whether he follows through on that is debateable, but that is the stall he has set out. I would be more concerned about the vote of your own club's chairman should it come to pass, and how it will most certainly expose the symbiotic relationship of your two cursed teams. If Rangers die, Celtic should be very much on notice that their domineering behaviour will not be tolerated now that they have nobody with whom to stand shoulder to shoulder in their cartel of protectionism. They will still enjoy revenues relative to their larger support, but over time they would most definitely be drawn back into the pack - and we'll see how full Darkhead will be then.
  16. Correct. Equally, there is no rule about penalty deductions to any side that decides to play its games wearing emu costumes. But there is nobody trying to make a case for it, similar to your own example, so I don't really see what your point is.
  17. Though I obviously detest the Cockwomble, Doncaster isn't actually doing anything here that wouldn't be expected of someone in the same role, and therefore it's pretty pointless getting wound up by his behaviour. He represents the member clubs of the SPL, and it is therefore his remit to defend each and every one of them against any sanctions being imposed by another body whether they are relevant or not. If there is nothing in the rules to prevent a NewCo existing in the SPL next season then, on that front, Rangers have done nothing wrong; it is the SPL's fault for not legislating against such a scenario despite precedents having been set by Motherwell, Dundee, Gretna et al. Donkeymaster should be regarded as nothing more than a sideshow to the main feast. Rangers will be liquidated because their mountain of debt, which is presently pretty intimidating, will become unassailable with the very likely rejection of their BTC appeal. When this happens, it forces Green's hand as he will not be able to achieve a CVA (which is subject to his deal with the transfer of shares from Our Lord Craig Whyte). He will either have to form the NewCo and take on the full force of the titanic shitberg that will hit Rangers then or he will simply back off and Rangers will deservedly drown in the cesspit of their excess over the past two decades. Everything else, all this posturing from the Cockwomble against the SFA sanctions, is a distraction. I don't consider it to be a coincidence that the administrators have gone very quiet over the past few days. The BBC doco on Wednesday will hopefully further galvanise the public and authorities against Rangers and, very possibly, we will soon witness the beginning of the end. And then we can all get to work on Celtic.
  18. Would have thought Rangers would have suited The Donald well. After all, his business acumen has essentially involved turning a $200m inheritance into a $4.9bn debt. That folk reckon he is some sort of financial genius is absolutely startling.
  19. Fullerton? Did he not start the Celtic trust or something like that? Name rings a bell somehow.
  20. And while we're at it, I wish Leggo had expanded on the history of the fella Fullerton. Did he not play a part as a founding member of the Celtic trust? And he was also responsible for all business banking in Scotland, you say? Leggo should mention him in his blog. Who is David Leggat? Who is Chick Young? What's a blog? <hic>
  21. Abso-fricking-lutely. How would you forgive yourself if you weren't plugged into The Big Rangers Administration Thread when the crippled hulk of Rangers FC finally luches into the massive double shitberg of the BTC and dual contract investigation findings?
  22. I agree. Despite the almost-unrestrained joy this latest development in the saga has provoked, looking at the process from an analytical point of view, it is at best fair to say that Duff and Phelps' handling of this case has been marked by incompetence and naivety, and at worst it has been mismanagement consistent with the individual who insisted on their appointment. I think questions need to be asked at the highest legislative level as to whether even the administration has been corrupt from the beginning, with the end result being a delivery into liquidation that would most likely serve Craig Whyte before everyone else, especially Joe Public.
  23. I've been getting a bit despondent about this entire situation the past few days, worriedly gnawing my fingernails at the prospect of Windy Miller Chicken Killer shimmying a b*****d Rangers back into the top flight next year with little to no recrimination for the club's previous conduct. Now this! Simply tremendous news to wake up to this morning, and I can assure you all that when Rangers Media recovers during GMT witching hours I will be trawling their boards and laughing myself silly at the doubtlessly moronic knuckle-dragging, braying commentary of the Ibrox Loyal. It may not prove the end-game - indeed, if Doncaster and the quisling Directors have their way, we and Scottish Club Football will lose in the end - but in these tough times we have to take every opportunity we can for mirth and merriment at the flailing throes of this most disgraceful of institutions.
