  1. Far from it, the only one of our cast off's I'd still have is O'Hara as we've found out decent players being used poorly clouds many a judgement. I was one sad to see him go, but could understand it. I'd have taken Dunne in January when we were relying on Sol and Lamie but on a two week loan. Las improved our "hot daddy" co-efficient. But you lot keep on sniffing round after we've done all the donkey work and continue to buy our donkey's.
  2. KD will be replacing Las within a couple of years .... everyone see's that coming
  3. He'll be playing in a Celtic "Legends" game in 15 years time after pivoting into podcasting, managed by washed up Scott Brown who claims the refs are against them.
  4. Ricki Lamie to power in an equalising header at Parkhead to overtake Hibs on GD ..... cometh the hour, cometh the man. I had it in my head Alexander was signed on a 2.5 year deal initially, part of the buy in for moving up permanently and his record at Salford to get him. But @capt_oats is right there's not mention in his appointment or subsequent contract extension. But in January 2022 if he did have 4 months to go, then a 3 year extension to the summer of 2025 does seem excessive, a 2 year extension with 1.5 to go seems to be easier to understand. But then when he arrived would he have had a view on 18 months allowed him to get back down South and be attractive to the English market for no compo required? The talk at the time was while a bump in salary there were extra stuff in the deal for the clubs benefit. Don't know about that, maybe a narrative put out by Flao via his unwitting pals when things started to go tits up. However, trying to come to terms with the concept if things hadn't gone so awry, we'd be approaching 2 seasons of prime Alexanderball with two more on the horizon until his agreed deal was up. Contemplating what that would do for my blood pressure and desire to gouge my own eyes.
  5. Even more wild this 20+ season has 7 games left and also included 7 points from 51 right in the middle of it. In recent times, Higdon and Sutton got their hauls in successful teams that consistently won. Did Kettlewell sign an 18 month gig?
  6. Stealing the other arsecheeks playbook now. Odds on 6 J-League starlets lining up in August and a pre-match huddle?
  7. "People who don't get vaxed are selfish p***ks" ..... in earshot of Liam I'm beginning to wonder if a lot of players I've given stick to over the years if played correctly and not given wild instructions are actually decent when used to their strengths by a manager who seems to know what he's doing. I'd have driven Goss to the airport before Christmas. Ketts has a 71% win record .... some boi
  8. Biding his time till Lawwell moves on from Celtic? He'd try and do it from England by Zoom, get that in the bin for a whole host of reasons.
  9. Watching Livi, don't feel I'm jinxing this even by posting at half time ......
  10. Inspired by Sean Goss at Easter Road last week. Fair score at half time probably.
  11. If its my team that scored I'm outraged by that decision. If my team is defending it and its given, I'm raging. A goal there would have been good for the game and it was probably legal. Worth it for Fat Sally's meltdown.
  12. Sun is shining, good run, most crocks back and available, other team can't buy a goal. If we were live on Sky ...... its a Livi win.
  13. His most famous scene a reciting a quote from the bible centred on vengeance ….. so could be either one of them. Calls people motherfuckers affectionately, aligning with the OF it’s a statement of fact.
  14. If the player is Van Veen and @LIVIFOREVER roofies him, we will not be impressed.
  15. On what planet is 1/60th is considered anything close to solidarity?
  16. It can only be the Nippy Tung. I'm told Tung is Cantonese for "miss a sitter"
  17. DIdn't realise your record was similar (in age) to our one against the Cocaine Bears. Team in form vs one bang out of it, a few months back I'd say if anyone needed a result we dutifully acquiesced. Nothing to suggest the form book and history will be upset, suspect VAR will be a talking point.
  18. 90% going on my straw poll currently have the expat package as domiciles. @thisGRAEME is it usually Sky’s cameras or an independent third party? While they may not hold the rights surely a cut of the fee the SPFL earn per region is funnelled to those who facilitate the coverage. Don’t know if you have an idea of the numbers involved but do all the cuts cover the production or do Sky need to top it up with some of their advertising/sub revenues.
  19. Here Ketts (do we need to Italic still), we like the 13 points from 18 thing but you'd bore the hind legs aff a donkey son..... I'd direct those back to Hammy's "we played nice fitba, it'll come good" week after week and Grezza looking like he was one question away from mounting desk and square going the jorno. Was the we go again next week thing down to him or the media team? The 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 thing is something I brought up before, due to contracts and loans ending SK really does have the chance to shape the defence as he sees fit. In this league the ability to pivot from a back 4 to a 3 with wingbacks based on the opposition or just to throw a spanner in to their expectations is a good bit of what distinguishes a team from bottom or top 6. Can't deny Sean Goss' performances of late have potentially moved him to the forefront of his thinking and that may influence a few things. He will never be a combined spray the ball about and get in amongst it sort of midfielder, so you need to make up for his lack of traditional midfielder traits through with who you put beside him. Butcher in midfield too (even though he said he was happy at centre half) is something I think we'd all like to see ...... just to see it. Makes you wonder the current SK feel good atmosphere due to a mix of clarity in all aspects and a winning team, how many guys who were itching to get out are considering hanging around? In early September we pretty much had an exclusive Alexander team putting points on the board and competing, probably fuelled in part by a lot happy GA was out the building. It seemed at the time the instructions given by Hammy paid dividends if very much up and down. Not long after the rot set in and those same players collectively took a step back which was resurrected in mid February when Ketts took over and the January signings started to be used well. It makes you wonder, based on the months prior would Hammy have got as good a tune out them as SK did? Hammy put Sol and Lamie and had KvV, Shields and AN Other 35 yards from each other in a front 3 week after week. As many of us thought, despite the shit show of a summer window we still had enough personnel in the building to compete better than we did in this league. But due to his rookie season in charge we were just happy to limp to the summer in mid table mediocrity, which ironically we will probably do but only because the split happens too soon for us based on our current form. While central defence was the Achilles heel for him, Hammy did have the option to recruit adequately which he didn't (before you consider Ojala's departure) or add an extra body to make up for the deficiency with numbers (McGinn where he is now and recall Max or play SOD), again which he didn't. Guys like Maguire he wouldn't have seen much from his recruitment as development boss and he had wildy had limited interaction with the first team and he won't see much of him at all before season end. Shields also has the opportunity to stake a claim to being KvV's partner (China dependant) with a clean slate from a guy who wouldn't in a month of Sunday's use him as a right winger.
