Ref signed for a foul on the keeper. He wasn't looking for offside when he went over to the monitor, he was checking whether he thought the keeper had been fouled. He then signalled for a foul on the keeper. VAR then changed it later on, which they're not supposed to do.

This 100% And for VAR to then change it to 'offside' later kinda smacks Mike Dean's theory in the pus about how nothing can be changed once the decision has been made. Plain and simple, it should have counted. It didn't and we ended losing the game because of it. Maybe we should ask to get the game replayed, that's the norm nowadays...

If VAR has originally chalked off the goal for a foul, how can they then go back and change it to offside? Surely if the Spurs-Liverpool fiasco taught us anything, it was as soon as the decision is made by VAR, they can't go back on it.

My mate had a massive crush on Viv Lumsden back in the day. So much so that he actually wrote to her telling her how beautiful her eyes were. Of course, if that had been today, he'd have had the polis at the door for stalking, had his name splashed all over social media and branded a sex pest, but this was the 80s, so Viv's response was a nice letter back and a signed photograph. The only thing I don't like about female commentators is that it usually sounds like it's a wee laddie behind the mic. The one that does some of the games for the BBC is a prime example of this.

The only thing that really concerns me right now is our overall lack of goals. Just 8 goals scored in 9 games is the worst in the league. I know we've generally been fine at the back, barring a couple of games, but I'd like to see our strikers start to score again. For context, the last time a striker not called Greig Spence scored was Dale Carrick's goal at Alloa in August. And that was a penalty.

By the way, anyone is welcome to this. Open invitation. Think we're now up to 7/8 names as definites, but the more the merrier. Just as a reminder, if you want to come along, you can either start in Dows next to Queen St station at 11am, or Times Square next to St Enochs at approx 12pm. If you've not done a subcrawl before, it's straightforward (in theory!), buy an all day ticket for the Underground, get off at every stop and have an alcoholic drink. Subcrawl connoisseurs like to 'close the circle' by having a drink at the first place you started, but this is entirely optional. For any subcrawl virgins out there, the only piece of advice I'd give you is not to wear anything green.

Excellent first quarter and probably needed as in this next quarter, we have to go to Hamilton, Cove, and Kelty which will be three tough away days. Couple of home derbies coming up too, so will be interesting to say the least.

Absotutely loved my trip to Dumfries today. Home fans made us really welcome, so kudas for that. As for the game, I'm biased, so I think we edged it Have to say, loved every minute of the trip today.
