  1. The missus has NOW 60 on. Disc 1 is truly, truly awful.
  2. Love is a Wonderful Colour - Icicle Works
  3. Last Goodbye, by Jeff Buckley. Fantastic.
  4. The familiar chime of the ice cream van across the road.
  5. Blondie - Fade Away and Radiate. Just dug Parallel Lines out last night, what a fantastic album that is.
  6. Los Lobos - How Will the Wolf Survive
  7. Whatever happened to them?? I thought they were gonna be huge this year, but they seem to have slipped off the radar. Erm, at work so no listening to anything, but I had Solitude Sometimes Is, by the Manics on in the car.
  8. It looks like the actor, Erik Kramer, who played the part of Thor in one of the Incredible Hulk movies. Probably not though. The Damned - Love Song
  9. Shang-a-la.......ha, not really. Stiff Little Fingers again, this time with Two Guitars Clash.
  10. The 2005 tour doesn't start until the end of September according to their website.
  11. The other members of the band are Glen Matlock (pistols), Billy Duffy (Cult), and Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats), and they all do their old band's songs. Quality gig if you can catch them.
  12. Kirk Brandon still tours with the lead singer of the Alarm in the band Dead Men Walking. Have you ever saw them? Never Take Me Alive sends a shiver when he plays it on his own acoustically. Terrific song.
  13. Caleynod? Fan of Bloc Party are we The Damned - New Rose
  14. Certainly more meaty than the last two, and in that respect, it's clser in style to Word Gets Around. I was a bit disappointed that the style of the 'Dakota' single wasn't taken forward on the album, as I regard that to be their best track yet. The rest of the album is more traditional 'Phonics fare, albeit as I said, a wee bit harder edged. Worth a listen.
  15. The new Stereophonics album. Not bad. It will get slated and ridiculed of course, usually by people who haven't actually heard it, but it's a fine record.
  16. Their best song in ages. I'm currently listening to Paul McCartney, though not, I might add, by choice
  17. To Repel Ghosts - Manic Street Preachers
  18. Funny you should say that, I've just downloa...er accquired the Calexico version, as I quite like them. The Crystal Frontier was a stellar tune.
  19. Is that the same song that the Damned covered circa 1987??
