  1. Just being pedantic, but they're "(The) Dee", not "Banks". Like calling Ross County, "Ross", sounds wrong!
  2. Google: a moderately famous actor, best known for a long-running crime drama series Bing: same as Google
  3. I'm sure if it just had normal roundabout lane markings, it would be safer, although not less busy. The mishmash of spirals and lanes is what makes it so confusing. Coupled with Inverness drivers. It definitely needs lights at peak times as well.
  4. Fair enough, happy to be corrected (even three years later). Just something I was told years ago and had no reason to disbelieve. They used to play out of Fife Park, so it made sense to me.
  5. There's a decent amount of parking at the ground on either side of the road, if you get there early enough. I've been to games when there's been cars parked along the verge as well. Other option is to park in Pitmedden and do the walk of death along the Oldmeldrum Road.
  6. I'd definitely do Inverness to Brechin via A96 and A90 now the bypass exists rather than A9 then cross-country.
  7. The lanes actually only got names less than a decade ago. https://www.scotsman.com/arts-and-culture/keith-streets-are-finally-given-names-1586544
  8. They'd definitely have been annoyed with you calling Shetland, "The Shetlands"
  9. Microsoft Teams and Outlook is shite for this. I work for the NHS and a university so have two accounts and each time I log out the calendars reset to start on a Sunday. I think it's an American thing, like the backwards dates.
  10. http://sfha.org.uk/highlandleaguetables.pdf Tables are here, not sure about specific results
  11. Is this about youth football? Junior football (despite the name) is adult football. A quirk of Scottish footballing history...
  12. Final score: Rothes 2-1 Brora Rangers
  13. Final is today at Grant Park, Lossiemouth, 1500 ko Rothes v Brora Rangers
  14. 2021-22 Final played last night, Friday 1st October at Harlaw Park, Inverurie. Formartine Utd 1-4 Banks o' Dee As the FitbaNorth twitter pointed out, first time a non-Highland League club (or Aberdeen) have won the cup for just over a century, when Aberdeen University lifted it in 1920-21.
  15. Fair enough, I thought you were talking about the winter booster. You should speak to the haematology consultant - the Green Book guidance specifically says specialist decision, I think its entirely understandable that your GP doesn't know about this.
  16. All the information is on the NHS Inform website: https://www.nhsinform.scot/covid-19-vaccine/the-vaccines/coronavirus-covid-19-booster-vaccination
  17. It's fucking carnage in the acute sector, mate. Not a conspiracy.
  18. Fine journalism from the Courier as usual.
  19. Thought Cumnock were the better team in the first half. Formartine came out of the blocks better in the second half and bossed it in the early stages of the half. Physical game with some meaty challenges on both sides. Formartine had what looked like a perfectly good goal chalked with a late offside flag. Cumnock stepped up a bit later in the half, thought draw was a fair result in the end. Would expect Cumnock to get through at home.
  20. If Banks o' Dee wanted in the Highland League, they've had plenty of opportunity over the last decade. They even got invited when Cove went up and they turned it down.
  21. He phones them up instead and they post him out a paper copy? If his pals have managed it, I'm sure they'd give him a hand. I think the passport idea is pointless, but it's not exactly hard to get the vaccine evidence.
