I also think Frankfurt are known for being particularly cuntish especially by West German standards. ive always found German fans to be either brand new (especially MSV Duisburg and HSV) or generally been ignored. Including Union Berlin. Only arseholes I came across were the Dynamo Dresden away fans who spent the entire game staring at the home end. Even that was nothing in the grand scheme of things. There is probably going to be some club in Bury playing at Gigg Lane next season, probably at a level where there crowds will far exceed any other team in the league they are in (unless Bolton join them). In a decade or less they will probably be in the National League with crowds only slightly lower than they are now.

The other problem with blaming the fit and proper persons test. Is that the EFL can't just fine a club owner, no matter how dodgy they are, if they own the club legally under UK law. They can go after the club and punish them In football sense and all that, but a proper dodgy owner won't necessarily care, as is the case right now at Bury. Especially when the clubs fucked anyway. EFL should have put both of them out there misery before the season started. By desperately letting them keep there places it just encourages taking financial risk. Punishment should be much tougher and earlier when clubs can't pay players etc.

Aa a couple of others have already pointed it out tout is best bet, I managed get tickets at face value from a tout before a game against Dynamo Dresden last season. I think I got lucky as there seemed to be quite a few people looking for tickets. Tho there were tickets available the week before online, which I forgot to order but as others have already said would be considerably more difficult now. Anyway if you do go look for people that look like they are holding up what look like tickets and hope for the best. Worked for me
