  1. As KIllie fans there is a wee ditty we sing to a certain team just down the 77 from us that goes along the lines of 'Ayr Utd won f**k all and never will' With the necessary name change, I would love to hear diddy fans in div 3 singing it to the newest club in Scottish football! Just to make sure that they can't forget it like!
  2. 'And Smith must score...!' Useless cnut couldnt even get that right His fuckwitted statement that 'Rangers are a massive institution' just underlines again what a cock this man is Shall we try this again? Rangers were a bigger than average football club, granted Rangers no longer exist Sevco are a new company, and will be a new club Sevco therefore need to start where every other new club starts - the bottom rung of the professional ladder (at best) Sevco currently have approximately 5 players (guesstimate - I readily admit I have no idea how many kids they might have) Nobody has any idea if Sevco will make it through the first difficult financial year Nobody knows how many 'Rangers' fans will support Sevco Nobody knows how successful Sevco might be - or might not Sevco are not therefore a massive institution Sevco are no different to every other club in SFL3 - regardless of potential size or potential future success Finally, if Sevco do come out of this, and their fanbase reduces to the small proportion of genuine football fans that we know do exist on the fringes of the sectarian lunacy, I hope that their true fans enjoy a taste of what football actually should be about - enjoyable days out, banter (not evil bigoted hate-filled invective, but genuine intelligent light-hearted joking), the chance to spend time with mates and finally, and most-importnantly, a true sense of anticipation about the game and the result. If New Rangers can achieve this, and Scottish football reorganises to stop us playing the same teams every fortnight, and their genuine fans get their voice back and our football clubs start playing young, cheap Scottish players then this Summer might just turn out to be the saviour of Scottish football, far from its Armageddon. Oh, and just one more time... f**k OFF SMITH
  3. Generally what happens when a person is made bankrupt they are refused the opportunity to benefit from such loans again. They have to start again in order to build up a decent record of managing their funds. If they can keep their nose clean for a period of some years they may eventually be allowed the same access as others... I wonder...does that process ring any bells with you at the moment?
  4. Excuse me, but would you be a Daily Record journalist by any chance? Just struggling to think of any other way an educational sub-normal like you might get hold of a computer keyboard...
  5. No 8 - you've achieved the impossible...I actually feel sorry for a 'The Rangers' fan! I hope that you enjoy the football, camaraderie and laughs on the journey from SFL 3 I remember when KIllie went down to the bottom tier, and I went to most away games, it was huge fun, and getting away days at grounds I had never been to before actually made following KIllie much more of a pleasure than it had been in a long time. As an exiled KIllie fan who goes to matches with my 7 year old, I would also say that away games are much more fun as father-son time... Finally I think you are right to 'walk away' from ibrox...the club you followed is now dead and being picked over by the shadiest bunch of crooks imaginable....again! In a couple of years you might have a new team to follow and the sectarian bigot element might have disappeared into whichever hole they crawled from in the first place, and a newco under proper management might even be enjoying its football and you can look people in the eye as you attempt to fairly win football matches. Let's hope so at least
  6. Burley you utter fanny And as for Norwich going down to the Championship you can just do one. (although not sure how I feel about NCFC signing Whittaker...actually yes I am...I have a very bad feeling about this)
  7. The only one that matters ya tosspot...our local one! Celtic may well have an international brand (and if that's the sort of thing that gets you excited then you're already halfway to being a Cockwomble) but football clubs are really supposed to be about their community...But if it's more important to you that some poor sod in south Korea has heard of the mighty Celtic then you just jog right along... Of course we all know what result lies at the end of chasing that particular rainbow don't we????
  8. The very fact that PnB was referred to explicitly several times in off the ball and sportsound makes this ever clearer. Was also good to have a PnB representative as a guest on the radio too...maybe we actually are the people!!!! I also loved Turnbulls explicit references to Diddy clubs in his interview!
  9. Ok...I am no defender of Celtic fans usually god knows, but if we are trying to maintain a stance that we are determined to see the other cheek punished for their misdeeds and not just out of sheer malice then I struggle to see them in the same light. As far as I know they've not broken the law, cheated the taxman, cheated their way to loads of trophies or threatened to boycott the rest of the English speaking world because they are the people or any other such nonsense. So although I can continue to find them every bit as distasteful I suppose I should try to do so on another thread so as to keep the focus of this one as clear as we can? Can we concentrate on making sure the blue orcs get their just desserts from this whole sham first? Then we can turn our new found diddy solidarity on the green cheek...
  10. I would love to see that name, and with it all the sectarian, unpleasant, bigoted, arrogant connotations that go with it, consigned to the cesspit it belongs in.But despite the fact that I had kind of assumed at the outset that they would not be able to use the name without some clear changes or additions (Govan Rangers?) I haven't seen it suggested anywhere that they will be forced to ditch it. What are to chances realistically and who would force it through? Isn't the trading name of the company different to the name of the club?
  11. I have a question which no doubt has been answered but it's too difficult to search. Did Rangers actually PAY any of their fines? If not, then the ONLY punishment has been the points deduction. I assumed not - that's why I didn't include it in my rant. I always thought it was daft to fine a club who have no way of paying the fine. Surely a hollow punishment if ever there was one?
  12. I don't have the pre-requisite old-firm apologist tendencies to qualify anyway. And I don't like lamb
