I like both our strips this season. Not so much this third one but it's purely commemorative and will be a collectors' piece.

Good player. On the fringes of the first team squad but needs experience. Better for him than playing in the Dev Lg.

Was that Andy Black at right back?

Brodie's not that tall, but he's only 17 and has packed a lot of experience into his career. Good shot stopper. Lee Cameron was a surprising free from Dens. Laddie can take a goal, probably needs to bulk up a wee bit. If you're needing a left-winger Andy Black's your man.

Why do people keep saying Andy Black is a winger? They've obviously never seen him play. And John Black is a midfielder. Take that from someone who has seen the majority of last season's Dev Lg games.

Having seen him on at least 20 occasions for the Dev team I can confirm that Andy Black is a right wing-back. John Black is a midfielder.

Keeper on the bench (17) is also off.

Decent young player. Right footed, but, as we don't have any lefties in our team he often has to play left back.

And remind me where Airdrie/Clydebank are these days?

A wee tip: Don't follow the Football Traffic sign when you're driving along Kingsway. Carry on and leave Kingsway at either of the next two roundabouts. That way, you avoid getting caught up in a tailback. Wait a minute though, it's Inverness we're playing!

Agree with Mr G: almost certain to be Gayfield, although weather could alter that. Usually played at 6pm on a Tuesday night. Outside chance it could be Dens as we're supposed to play four games there this season and we've only played two so far. Check the DFC website or Twitter feed. Alternatively, check back here at start of next week and I'll post details when they're confirmed.

Pretty fair assessment. I would say.

Who says Dyer's been shite? I've watched three of the four games he's played for the under 20s and he's put in decent performances. That said, Irvine deserves the shirt for his displays.

Oh, dear!

McPake's been excellent for us, bar yesterday's penalty faux pas. In fact, if I had to vote for a POTY right now, he'd be in there along with McGowan, Harkins, McGinn, Stewart and Clarkson. I wouldn't have a clue. Hopefully, all will become clear as the season goes on.

One idea might be to give the 'Derry' an official name, like the Shankly or the Coxy. Might I suggest 'The Vince Mennie South Enclosure'?

My recollection is that East Craigie (Scotland's oldest junior side?) were about to fold so merged with Elmwood and kept the East Craigie name alive.

McGowan a super wee player and Harkins magnifico today. Like Konrad but think we should look for a Brian Irvine type to play alongside McPake. Letheren sticks to his line but, having seen quite a bit of Bain in Under 20s recently, not sure he's any better.
