  1. Obviously the 21/22 season had some great memories in this Championship run but some of the best were from our first season including a fantastic defensive display against Utd at Tannadice. Hopefully we can repeat that next week. Also that 3 0 win against Inverness and that Scott Stewart goal!

  2. Ricky is an absolute legend for this club. 11 seasons with total commitment. I hope people manage to go to his testimonial dinner as he deserves as much recognition as Bobby got. Great centre half partnerships with Hamilton in the League 2 winning season and then forming one of the best partnerships I've seen with TOB. Played every game in our League 1 winning campaign and definitely one of my all time favourite players.

  3. To be honest we don't normally play well when it's windy. Best performance I've seen us in recent years was against Dunfermline when we took advantage. Best performance I've seen at Gayfield when windy was Queens Park last season when they passed it on the deck and completely bossed the game. You can't complain about the wind if you willingly kick high balls into it all the time.

Big Jim at the wheel.....Car crash! 😔

Such a difficult task to take on. Injuries forced us into the market. Ireland season finishing has led us to picking up available players from that league but they are just not good enough.

I liked what I saw when McIntyre took over but we never have. A decent back 4 fit and that has killed us this season.

Just watched the highlights from Arbroath and for the umpteenth time this season there are key moments / talking points from the game not included and it’s dire.
ICT are going mad about a Mackinnon tackle - not in the highlights.                      Foul on Hammy that meant he had to go off and had the crowd going mental - not in the highlights.
potential foul on Ryan Dow on the edge of the penalty area and would have seen their boy sent off - not included. As well as the chance right at the end. I just find it a bit annoying that these details you look forward to seeing again aren’t included because of a reason I’m not so sure of?
Also surely you have no idea what’s going on if you’re listening to the audio commentary?! It’s so poor and surely the club know it. Don't like to criticise people giving their time to the club but it is really really hard to listen to that highlight commentary (or actual commentary if it’s a midweek stream)

It's shocking the amount of key moments missed from the highlights with no real reason for it.

I think it’s definitely been exaggerated and blown out of proportion - is it being said because whoever was shouting maybe spat by accident when they were shouting?

There is absolutely no way someone has tried to spit on him that is crazy talk and would’ve absolutely been seen by other supporters.

Big difference between being hit by a bit of spit and being spat on. If it was the latter it would have been acted upon.

  7. You obviously want to do as well as possible but I totally get it. The main thing I wasn't keen on about the Always Arbroath scheme was the aim to compete to sign players that want to be full time. We should be aiming for the better part time players as that is what can give us a bit of an advantage mainly. The kind of full time players we have attracted have been a poor standard mainly and are not going to jump us ahead of the other teams around us.

Picking up players like Jason Thompson that are still capable of playing full time but looking to set themselves up for the future by going part time are better aims than trying to be in the market for full time players QOTS, Cove, Hamilton will be competition for imo.

  8. Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola wouldn't do any better at the moment with these injuries. If Cove had stayed up it would have been at our expense so glad they self destructed in the end from a selfish point of view. If we can get some key players back quickly we will have a chance otherwise it's going to be over quickly.

As soon as i seen Stowe going down i thought the refs not giving that.

Obviously the boy has gone in for the initial tackle, Stowe sees that the boy is on the deck and flicks the ball to the left past him. But he just looked like he tried to run over the player and not towards the ball.

Can see on the highlights him flick it left but his body does not turn or move left but straight on. He isnt trying to go round the player. Ref would have been looking at him from the front so got to believe thats what he saw too.

Obviously of course i want it to be a penalty all day long. But seeing it on the highlights i think Stowe seen a chance for a pen and played for it and failed.

I know i am going to get hate for having that view but its my honest opinion.

You would have a decent argument up until the defender jumps up into him. Stonewall penalty.
