  1. That's the second time the twitter admin's scummed us with a random tweet we all thought meant a signing. GET THE MAN SIGNED UP.
  2. Spencer was my man of the match, the way he dictates a game is just majestic to watch. Thought Ross had bright sparks in the game and got himself into good positions but still want more from him. Shanley should have got himself at least a goal, had a good little lay off at the start of the build up to the first goal. His movement had him in a few times just needed a better touch like the one Spencer clipped over the top for him in the second half. Tasty finish from Oliver and an even tastier nutmeg earlier in the game.
  3. Easiest game we've had against Montrose in a long time. Could have been 10-0.
  4. Absolutely loves trying a worldie of a long ball with it going to a Falkirk shirt 1% of the time.
  5. Bring back Willy Stroker, Accies got cummed on.
  6. Hogarth Yeats Donaldson Lang Mccann Tait Spencer Morrison Nesbitt Ross Shanley
  7. McGlynn's monogamous to the 4-2-3-1 we won't see that change. I'd imagine his pre contracts might be a bit better than Brad Mckay and Stevie Hetherington though. Oliver's versatility has been useful but our signings over the summer need to be better quality than him.
  8. They were very complimentary about Keelan Adams the other week talking about him running non stop against Ferry's East Kilbride team. Should be a good listen.
  9. How we're currently looking for next season. Goalkeepers Defenders Keelan Adams Coll Donaldson Tom Lang Midfielders Brad Spencer Liam Henderson Aidan Nesbitt Calvin Miller Alfie Agyeman Strikers Ross MacIver Jordan Allan Academy Players Owen Hayward Logan Sinclair Shay Burke Rhys Walker Scott Honeyman I'd keep Hogarth as a back up for next season but I'd imagine he'd rather go elsewhere and play. I'd love Mccann & Yeats to be the next two contract extensions. Morrison will have much better offers than us. Ross, Tait and Shanley have shown glimpses of promise but have the rest of this season to show they deserve to be here. Jordan Allan the only real player we have still under contract that will most likely move on. Long, Bisland, Mackie, MCKAY, McGinn, Oliver and Lawal moving on would be best for all parties.
  10. Nesbitt has been exceptional this season, his constant movement and pressure is pivotal to how we play but yesterday for me was exactly why many have had doubts about him. Two or three chances in the second half to put the game to bed and he fluffed them.
  11. We don't make things easy for ourselves do we? Was worried it was going to be another game McGlynn didn't do anything to change the pattern of the game but we got there in the end. SPENCER WHIT WERE YOU DOING! 11 points ahead and a great chance to make that 14 on Tuesday with 12 games left, what a season we're having.
  12. I think he's just saying those players could all play in the championship.
  13. 2-1 win for the U16's tonight against Stirling Albion, plenty of good prospects in that squad.
  14. Saw someone on the facebook page talking about replacements for Morrison when he departs this summer, which opposition players have impressed you this season? For me: Ruairidh Adams had a cracker against us for Edinburgh City. Luke Graham, young left sided centre back at Montrose on loan from Dundee. Scott Martin for Hamilton, can see why they've struggled losing a player like that to injury. Miller Thomson was impressive whilst on loan at Montrose from Dundee United earlier in the season. Taylor Steven & Bobby Wales for Alloa both look promising talents.
  15. See I don't know how to interpret that article, Is Mccann saying he's waiting until the season's done before deciding what he wants or is he saying I'm not bothered I haven't been given an extension as we have a title to win? Would love him to get an extension but I've got the feeling McGlynn will be looking for a taller replacement.
  16. You can keep your diddy horses, we've got a big wheel.
  17. Never mind changing ends, what about changing the cameras?
  18. Timing doesn't really matter, we had a free weekend and he's free to talk to whoever he wants of course he's popping over the water to see what's on offer.
  19. Didn't know Clyde were so far adrift at the bottom of league 2, explains why they've went big in the January window. Allan missed a couple of golden chances for them at the weekend.
  20. Nah I want a beach ball type atmosphere an early goal and a rout to finish them off.
  21. Tait's not really a decent example as nobody's really managed to get a tune out of him the last few years. McGlynn knows him inside out given he brought him through as a 17 year old so he was always more likely to get a tune out of him. Managers live and die by their recruitment, Rankin brought too many of the same type of players in over the summer(or was it Strain?)and add in the fact your best players are out injured for a massive whack of the season it was never going to be easy.
  22. Would also put us in the driving seat for summer recruitment as there wouldn't be the 'what if they don't do it' hanging over us.
