  1. I don't think the calls were mental as that Airdrie game was absolutely shocking and the second leg there didn't seem to be any fight either but it was easy to forget at the time McGlynn could only piss with the cock he was given. He should never have played the narrow diamond midfield with a crocked McGinn as the anchor but he had a defence that included Kinnear, Williamson and Brad fucking Mckay. With the latter two tackling eachother for one of the goals and Burrell sold the jersey's at the freekick, nothing a manager can do about that. He was originally handed a 2 year deal for a reason and I'm glad the board stuck with their guns as this seasons been outstanding. Only one player potentially on the books next season that we probably all wouldn't mind leaving and given he's just bagged himself 2 goals and 2 assists in the one game we might actually be able to shift him in the summer(Clyde fancy giving us more than what we paid for him when he keeps you up?) It's not even that we're just winning games ala Dunfermline last season, the football we're playing is fantastic to watch. Numerous players in the team you'd happily pay to watch on their own never mind in the same team. Talking about how much the squad seems to be getting on and I've only just realised thanks to a Hendo tweet how many of the team actually knew eachother from previous football teams. Henderson and Morrison grew up together in the Hearts academy, Miller + Nesbitt in the Celtic academy and Mackie + Shanley in the Hibs academy with Tait also involved there later on. Lang played with Miller in the Scotland youth set up. Spencer's played with Tait, Lang & Ross at Raith.
  2. I do feel for them as this has been us for the last 5 years but it's fucking fantastic not being the laughing stock of scottish football this season. "4 fucking strikers on the park" "Get that in your fucking interview" "Well done John another defeat at home" 4:30 onwards in for the best bits.
  3. Two quick freekicks taken and possession lost for Kelty, referee brings both back to be taken again. Not to mention booking MacIver for Thompson blocking the quick freekick. KNOB
  4. It's not very often you can say the goalkeeper's won you the 3 points but Hogarth's saves in the first half were the difference today. He was outstanding. Thought we would have stepped it up a gear in the second half but we didn't really get going. Ross was good when he came on, one thought in his mind to attack his man.
  5. We're gonna win the league, we're gonna win the league...
  6. How's young Owen Hayward been doing for you this season?
  7. Reece Lyon's decent but he's no Liam Henderson, if Hendo's not the injured key player I have no doubt we'll see that statement come true today. Martin signed a 2 year deal last summer, unless he's free to leave if they don't get promoted. Lyons also has another year left at Montrose. Fulton and Steven would be excellent additions. Wales will be off down south soon I'd imagine.
  8. Keep seeing Hayward getting MOTM for Penicuik and the fact he's managed to hold his starting spot for so long as an 18 year old is a good tell. Not sure if Sinclair's injured as he hasn't been in the last few Tynecastle squads. Burke's forced himself into the Drumchapel team lately which won't have been an easy feat as they have a fair few well known ex professionals. (David Templeton, David Hopkirk, Martin Mcniff) Honeyman's a regular starter for the shire and has 5 goals + 1 assist in 12 lowland league games which is fantastic numbers. Scored directly from a corner the other week. Walker appears to have fell out the Camelon starting line up after being on fire at the start of his loan. Given we were only in the reserve cup it made sense to get them all out playing regular football it'll be very interesting to see how they look when they come back in the summer.
  9. I think we're mooing about him far too soon, if McGlynn can get him back to his Raith form then fair enough but lets wait and see how it goes first.
  10. He set us off against Kelty in the last game away from home too, another one tomorrow pls Hendo.
  11. Two year deals for that extra bit of security and they would have came in knowing they were guaranteed starters.
  12. Terrific interview with Mccann too, wee man couldn't stop smiling. Yeats next and then Shanley, Ross and Tait can prove themselves worthy of being here next season over the next few months. Quality over quantity again this summer and we'll be in right good shape. New Yeats/Adams Coll Lang Mccann Spencer Hendo Morrison Nesbitt Miller MacIver
  13. Rudden, Byrne and Ashcroft won't have been cheap loans for a start. Then there's paying money for Jack Hamilton on a 3 year deal. They won't be anywhere near Dundee United's wage bill but they'll have players on more than us. Did they even offer Lang & Spencer a new deal?
  14. Genuinely didn't think there was a point in mentioning Morrison extending the last few months as it was never even a possibility in my mind. Just goes to show what Super John McGlynn's brought to this team, local lad choosing to continue bleeding navy blue rather than take the money elsewhere. Hero. Who's wanting pumped?

  16. The eyes emoji is used when you're making a new signing or announcing a contract extension. Could have been worded better to stop the majority from thinking it was a Yeats contract extension hint.
  17. He thinks it counts as an assist if he sets the opposition up.
