  1. I can see the versatility point of view but I was hoping McGlynn would have been more ruthless than that.
  2. We've all mentioned the positions we feel need strengthened in the summer but what kind of attributes would you like to see us improve on. Just like how last summer Swinney was on Falkirk daft talking about how we needed more power, aggression and pace. For me it's creativity, composure & experience.
  3. I think it'll be this weekend, Cove need to pick up points as otherwise Montrose/Alloa will pip them to the playoff spots. Cove won the last home game against them 1-0 in November and although Hamilton won the other two matches there wasn't much in the games.
  4. It's mentioned on Falkirk daft how much McGlynn lives and breathes football and how much his fine lady must detest him for it. I made the trip through to Alloa on Sunday to watch the U18's and around 5 minutes before the game started in strolls super John McGlynn in his finest Sunday clobber(bunnet and all) with his fine lady following behind him. Just hope he treated her to something from the lidl bakery after the game.
  5. Makes a difference from us fighting over which of the numerous diddies we want punted first. Starting GK Left sided CB CM Starting 10 Starting ST
  6. As mentioned we've not seen much of him but he looks similar to MacIver in that his link up plays excellent but he lacks that killer instinct to put chances away.
  7. Bit left field here but what's the script with Steven Warnock, I remember him being hyped up in the press a few years ago with a possible move down south and he had a decent loan spell at Edinburgh last year but appears to have done nothing this season? Thought he'd have been out on loan again this season proving himself like Bobby Wales.
  8. Exactly, to progress we should be aiming to better the starting 11.
  9. Everytime Oliver's started he's shown why Nesbitt is preferred to him. We need better next season.
  10. Best starting 11 from the start, get the game won then ring the changes. Long Yeats Donaldson Hendo Mccann Spencer Tait Morrison Nesbitt Miller MacIver
  11. Where was this mentioned? Hopefully Hogarth, Yeats and Ross. Tait's under contract for another year at Hibs but hopefully we can bring him back in the summer too.
  12. Looked to me like he jumped far too early for it and so got caught underneath it when the ball actually came to him. He's one of the best in the air we've ever had but he has those sitters in him.
  13. Just hasn't worked out for him here, with him performing so well with you lot it may be he has a fair few clubs after him in the summer. As Bairnardo mentioned I'd imagine we'll want to move him on in the summer so it'll be up to whether he wants to leave or keep collecting a full time wage.
  14. I joked that Hartley would send Lawal straight back to Falkirk for the tunnel antics after our game the other day but as he's not been in the last two squads I'm starting to think he actually has. Who's got the inside scoop?
  15. Anyone know what time the academy games are today? We seem to have removed the tweet announcing when all the games were.
  16. Tait looked absolutely gubbed in the second half but so would Mo Farah playing centre midfield with McGinn in his condition. His range of passing was still on point though, naughty wee lofty wedges over the top of their defence.
  17. Even if they draw we can win the league with a win next weekend.
  18. Flatters to deceive all too often for me, Agyeman has better numbers than that for us and he's hardly been seen the last 3/4 months. Not to mention he's our 4th choice winger at the moment.
  19. We'll have better quality to pick from than Lee Connelly.
  20. There was contact, it wasn't enough to take him down but if he doesn't go down it's not given as a penalty. Wouldn't say it was a dive why should he stay on his feet there?
  21. Was almost a carbon copy of the last game at Palmerston. Dominated the first half but didn't take our chances, MacIver misses a sitter of a header. Thankfully their goal kicked us into action, can get Ross signed up for next season now please John.
  22. Oliver from the start, let's see how much he deserves a new deal.
  23. As a gauge here's how the last 5 league winners have done the following season in the championship. Ayr 2017/18 - finished 4th Arbroath 2018/19 - finished 5th Partick 2020/21 - finished 4th Cove 2021/22 - finished 10th Scum 2022/23 - currently 6th
