Neil Young was touring an album about 12 years ago, he pissed off the audience by stating, we'll start by playing my new tunes from start to finish.

After every song the audience shouted out 'requests' but the band stuck to the task.

Young announced an interval after the album was played out, then came out after the break and played the whole thing all over again.

..and the rest - Greendale came out in 2003. A cracking album (and film), tbf, but not quite what fans were expecting. Still, Neil does what he wants.

  2. I've been sick, then on Sunday I took the wee boy to the big town (he also had the covid) for some leisure time and a KFC (with mash potato) on the way home I come to T junction not far from my house about 1 km. Left or right, left to my in laws (take the new dolly I just bought  to my daughter) or right to my house.'
Took the right, was hit head on by a Toyota white pick up, (he was on the wrong side of the road).
Big bang, son didn't see it, I saw the full scary view. motor bike fucked, his car driver side fucked (good), very sore. Rushed to hospital with my son in a ambulance (very scary,, driving like a maniac.
Boy (Roy) had cust on his leg and sore stomach (where he was pushed against me), I had cuts all over my legs, broken toe (blood flowing) and sore groin (now purple, my wee tadger is purple). Bruised from my right knee all the way up to my belly button.
But apart from that, not much has happened. I'll get the quiz done soon , sorry.
ETA - the c**t who hit me was not even from the village, he was on holiday from Bangkok. City folk thinking then can drive anywhere, didn't even ask if we were ok......c**t
ETAA - Said city slicker c**t, tried to say not his fault. I'm a wise man, nothing got touched nothing moved, within 30 seconds folk were on the seen, who all know me and Roy, all I could say was, take photos...and they did.
He was obviously going for "It was  the foreigners fault, which works 9/10 times"
Shat himself when I spoke Thai to him!
Hope you get on the mend sharpish, Slips. Get the cűnt addressed for maximum compo. Doesn't matter if the road's in Ayrshire, Yorkshire or Thailand, a cűnt's a cűnt.

The obvious answer to this is "enough".

These c***s vote for an ideology. The stuffing in the suit doesn't matter.

A month ago I would have wholeheartedly and unhappily agreed. Now? I wouldn't be too sure. The tractor-shagger also had a 24k cushion*, and now the Lib-Dem candidate in the by-election is currently 1/4 with the bookies.

I am, as is well known on here, a sunny wee optimist, but I can't help feeling there is an undercurrent of "we'll move on when we're ready, cúnto" spreading down here. I've heard a few tories pissed off at being TOLD what they think is important. After yesterday's performance, it's obvious that Johnson has "lost the dressing room", and is about as popular as Brian Clough was with the Leeds players back in the day.

*Which is a couple of thousand more than "Silent" Greg Knight, my representative. Hope springs eternal, as they say, but a swing of that size to Labour is a lot to ask in a mainly rural constituency.

There’s plenty of Tories I dislike but she’s the only one I can think of who is unhinged.  I won’t make light of mental health issues but I genuinely think she has problems.

She has also been promoted way beyond her abilities and under a new Tory leader will soon be a backbencher unemployed again.

FTFY. She might have a 24k majority, but how many of them are going to have been impressed by her recent displays of instability and, I'll say it, an obvious problem with substance misuse evident when she's actually "at work"?
