The new "smart gate" system on the Glasgow underground. 10 and 20 journey tickets binned, and replaced with new, more expensive 7 and 28 day tickets. And when the new system takes over, it will effectively be a 27% increase for 20 journeys over the old ticket. And the service is still exactly the same as it was when it cost 90p for a single.

Some sensors are also a bit overly sensitive to heat - my maw and paw had one in their conservatory, which became an oven in the sun, and I regularly had to go and reset the alarm when they were on holiday. When the guys came to check the system, they moved the sensor, and no problems since.

Howler? It took superslow hotspot which showed the tiniest mark, and the crowd sounds being removed from the audio for the 3rd umpire to pick it up. Wrong decision yes, howler no.

This match sums up my feelings about Test cricket. I actually quite enjoy seeing England win, but when they lose, it's usually f*cking hilarious. They are on the verge of a disaster, although the lunch break probably suits them more than the Aussies. The bowlers need a rest, and to come back out raging Botham and Willis style.

From the sounds of the commentators explanation (which I didn't 100% understand!), Hawkeye is 100% accurate on where it pitches, and only half the ball has to be in the blue zone. Had the seam been an inch wider out, it would have been umpire's call
