  1. Oh, Arsenal. If Dundee United lost a goal like that I'd be raging.
  2. Bonnyrigg Rose 0 Stranraer 0. A pretty uneventful game in truth. A Bonnyrigg player (not sure who, sorry) missed a good chance when clean through midway through the first half, and there was one good run and shot from a Stranraer player which was well saved, but aside from that it was mainly half chances. The wind didn't help, and it really felt like both sides struggled to acclimatise to it. And, obviously, the pitch was terrible. A draw seemed fair to me and the pie was very nice, I enjoyed my day despite the lack of action.
  3. As mediocre as we have been, our defence has still been very good, aside from against George Oakley
  4. Unless Dunfermline start trying as hard against everyone else as they do against Dundee United, they're in a spot of bother
  5. Bit disappointed that John McGinn's goal celebration did not involve a sandwich tbh
  6. The object of the exercise this year is to win the league, and we are in a good position to do that. It's been a slog recently, and we are probably fortunate that Raith Rovers have fallen to bits since beating us at Tannadice. I'm not convinced Goodwin will be a good enough manager in the Premiership, but let's get there before worrying about that.
  7. Our form collapsed at roughly the same time yours did, but we have the ability to grind out results when not playing well. Which is good, as we haven't played well in weeks.
  8. We're crap, but we're still somehow grinding out the results. Sounds like we were a bit fortunate to win, again, but I'll take it.
  9. It's the right decision, but why the hell did it take so long?
  10. Whichever team is playing Sheffield United next, their manager should tuck into a sandwich in the dugout during the game
  11. Ferrari still have a pull than no other team has, and a lot of drivers go there thinking they can turn them around - Alonso and Vettel to name but two. Ayrton Senna would almost certainly have finished his career there had he lived. The last guy who did turn them around was Michael Schumacher, although having Jean Todt and Ross Brawn there certainly helped. Hamilton took a leap when he joined Mercedes all those years ago and it paid off, so who knows?
  12. There's a strong chance a seat will open up at RB at the end of next year, but chances are that will go to Liam Lawson, or maybe Ricciardo if he can show next season he hasn't completely lost it.
  13. It seems to be definitely happening this time https://joesaward.wordpress.com/2024/02/01/lewis-and-ferrari/ As someone else said, Sainz is off to Audi in 2025 ETA If we are looking at possible Merc drivers for 2025 what about Andrea Kimi Antonelli? Might be a bit soon for him, right enough. It's maybe more likely they will park him at, say, Williams for a couple of years first.
  14. Someone needs to explain to you how inverted commas work, otherwise you're going to look really foolish one day
  15. That's the impression I got. My main takeway is that people are much, much worse at reading other people than we think we are.
  16. Worth millions? Think you're going to have to show your workings there, champ
  17. Strange to think if we win our next two games we'll be seven points clear. Sounds easy when you put it like that, eh?
