  1. What point did this happen, I was down the Pollok end so couldn’t see that? However looking at the highlights, after your number 5 drops to the ground like he is shot by a sniper the number 4 is over at him, no Pollok player in sight? As for seeing what they want, second half was unfortunately watching the game where I usually do - the way Lok attack and listened to non stop moaning for every decisions by KL bench and supporters behind it. Fouls they wanted to be given which they got, then complain for the same one against them. So maybe have a look at yourselves first before saying a group of fans only see what they want.
  2. He did, continually let your mob away with off the ball stuff and constant fouls. So many fouls he couldn’t even remember who was making them.
  3. The Pollok penalty should have been awarded for the push on Gal, blatant push, which if camera was on other side would have even shown it more clearer. Ref was a shocker today, couldn’t do the basics, which was control the game.
  4. Maybe try building a toilet , shocking that last time I visited pollok I had to stand in a brick walled off area that belongs in the 60s for a pea, god knows where you go for a dump, Hope it wasn’t too mushy.....
  5. Good luck to DG. Will be interesting to see who he brings in with him, will Butch join him? Wouldn’t surprise me to see him do well, intelligent footballer will have decent contacts and always active on the touch line when not playing or even taking shooting drills in warm ups at the end of his time at Pollok
  6. A fan of Kilwinning Rangers commenting on an opponents manager shouting at officials without a hint of irony. A team managed by one of the biggest gobs in junior football. I was over the other side of the park and there was only one voice I constantly heard and that wasn’t Murdies.
  7. Club moans on P&B... fixtures changed. Happened last year, happening again this year.
  8. Sorry, is this not P&B or is it a Talbot fans forum? Threads created that lots of fans comment on. Sorry if what I have said has touched a nerve. Every season teams on here get criticized when a game gets called off for their own convenience, and then told not to complain about it. Same thing for your team.
  9. There was a Wednesday night that they could have played a game.... Or even the next Monday night....
  10. There is some nonsense posts on here and then there is this. Sugar Daddy.... Petershill and Pollok (who I assume you mean despite the incorrect spelling) total nonsense. As for either of these clubs think they deserve a place on premiership, where has either said that. When either has been relegated they both worked hard to get back, don’t ever recall saying either has a right to be in the top league?
  11. Not at all ‘sour grapes’ when you don’t make the keeper work you don’t deserve to win. I can admit when we don’t play well which I posted, the same as I did when we stole the game v Bankies the other night. It just amazes me that KL fans follow up a 7-0 win with another win and instead of talking about their own players would rather talk about us. (even one cant get over his obsession with our former manager than he mentioned him! ) But finally you recognise some of your players performances I am not sure of names, but the bald CH and the no 10 for me were your best two. No 10 very rarely wasted a pass and the CH played like a typical junior CH should.
  12. Great to see that when Kilbirnie beat Pollok they can only post about Pollok fans, players etc and not about their own team. Hope you enjoyed your ‘cup final’ As for the game. Two teams who played very poorly, no football on show, very little chances and the only difference one got a penalty and the other didn’t. For Pollok it was like Clydebank game all over again. Too many off days and lack of options to change it due to the number of injuries & a suspension. We know we can play better as we have shown by beating better teams in the league like Beith.
  13. I was thinking about that one. I assume that has changed too. I can recall as few seasons ago at Beechwood Longmuir (Gk) was sent off as denying a goal scoring opportunity (last man) and our next game was the Scottish cup final. Queue every pollok fan in the crowd only worried about what the suspension rules were and not that we had put the smallest man on the park in goals - Tam Hamlon
  14. Only needs to be partly on the goal line and when zoomed in as best as can to when ball struck hard to say for certain, so equally hard for the lino to tell at the exact point of contact if keeper has part of a foot on the line
  15. I think it’s hard to tell. I thought the new rules were the GK must have part of one foot on or above the line if jumping. Looking at the two saves it’s hard to tell if that isn’t the case when the ball is struck
  16. We can’t all our have committee members as West VP.... (This is a joke before anyone wets their knickers)
  17. Could have played one of their games v Rossvale or Beith on 26th, ensure Talbot don’t fall further behind in the league and have a ‘fixture pileup’ at the end of the season. I am sure that would have helped the fixture guy and Talbot in the long run.......
  18. Real struggle tonight, don’t think we could have had many complaints if we had went out. But nice to go though when not playing as well as we have been.
  19. Just the 4 errors in this post.
  20. Did I say anything about Talbot fans greeting?
  21. Any team that wins the league cup knock out rounds will have 12 games in 33 days not just Talbot.
  22. And that’s exactly what should have happened One less round in the cup due to less teams meant we knew the finalists early April, to then wait 7 weeks to play it was mad. Could have been played on the first Sunday of May, every senior team still playing at that time. Lots of clubs to approach, Thistle, St mirren, Ayr, Motherwell oh, and even Queens Park.
  23. Not read the full thread, but it’s hardly a surprise that league presentation hasn’t been handled well. Years ago when Lok won the league the trophy was to be presented at Dunterlie. They presented it 30 minutes before kick off before most supporters were in the ground. Cant recall what season it was, may have been the first year of West as we had to wait for Neilston to play their last game before we officially won it and our league season was over, or may have been at the end of central leagues. Either way, wasn’t handled well back then, so it’s now new.
