  1. Yeah, just like your number 8 who goes down screaming and when he doesn’t get a foul jumps up. Clearly you aren’t someone who can hold a reasonable conversation about football. Enjoy your night....
  2. Seriously. Do you never watch a game objectively. Wilson leads with his elbow every time he jumps for the ball. He is cute with it and gets away with it. It’s not a criticism, as we have players who play on the boundaries as does every junior team, but at least have the grace to admit it. As for Boyle, all he was doing today was exaggerating every time Wilson done it to try and get the ref to actually take action, which he finally did.
  3. Talbot deserved their win today. Pollok played like they had never heard of Talbot before today. Goals we lost were typical of the current Talbot side. Don’t defend corners and give your big CH too much space, rash challenges giving Shankland the chance from Free kicks, and then giving Pope all the time to put another in the top corner. A bit more fight from us second half and Duff and Fordes chances might have made it a bit closer, but to be honest didn’t deserve anything. Hopefully we can keep in a league race so when Talbot come to Newlandsfield we can have something to play for.
  4. I haven’t listed every team I think are in, just a few. Equally Glenafton could come strong too as could Kilwinning that you mention. My main point, that despite others implying it’s Pollok or Talbot, that it’s far from that.
  5. It looks a lot more than just Pollok and Talbot at this stage. Meadow going about their business well, never rule out teams who have been done it before in Beith and Hurlford too. Pollok are picking up points while not playing well and nursing injuries meaning, which is a good sign. However 3 huge league games coming up next and if offered 3 draws would take them now! For a team who isn’t Talbot to win the league they need Talbot to not have a season like last, to drop a handful of points over 30 games is impressive, it needs a ‘normal’ title race for someone else to win it. 3 or 4 teams fighting for the league and therefore taking points of each other and hopefully off Talbot would open it up, but a long long way to go. Notice Fanny of the Juniors desperate to have a childlike spelling of Pollok. Obsessed by us.
  6. If you were 10 yards away you must have been playing. Your team lost to stupid mistakes by your keeper and Liam, any sensible Clydebank fan has already acknowledged this on here and the group standing next to me in the enclosure absolutely agreed. Should Pollok have won, no, did they, yip! Also nice to see the love in continues with Ladeside dugout dancers liking posts etc. absolutely obsessed with Pollok.
  7. Fair assessment, the first penalty the keeper had a moment of madness, the second there was a chance Dallas might have got on the end of it if he wasn’t fouled. Another game for Pollok where we wouldn’t have won it in the last few years, had to dig in, got a bit of luck and got the 3 points.
  8. Agree, it’s a crazy amount of games to play, all driven by the sectional cup and protecting local derby matches. So far out of the Pollok squad the only players I can think who have always been available this season and haven’t sat out at least one game through injury are Lumsdon (GK) coutes Mackenzie esplin fraser Stuart McCann The rest of the squad I can think of occasions where they have been unavailable due to injury. Can’t think of a time when it’s been that bad. Last week v Ladeside we had at least 4 players who would have been in our first choice 16 still out and then lost Forde during the game. 5 players who were regular starters or always coming off the bench in the first few games missing. We have recalled a young player back from a loan and brought in another U21 a few weeks ago to help fill the bench. On top of that we lost McGregor at the start of the pre season, who was a regular start last season. When you think how late the season ends for some clubs ( Talbot a good example) to then start soon after and play so many games at the start doesn’t seem right.
  9. To be fair to the linesman he isn’t seeing the big number 4 on the players back, it’s the ref who is.
  10. 546 from a post that Archie put on the Pollok Forum
  11. Calling people daft and at the same time posting the message twice. You are on fire.
  12. Of course you have no problem with Talbot. As there is this bizarre Ayrshire thing where clubs in Ayrshire think Talbots success is their success as they are from the same old league set up.
  13. Haha, now claiming not to be a Kilbirnie fan. Probably FOTJ second account. The only way you can claim to never have seen a support like Polloks is because most clubs bar Talbot don’t have a support. Hope you didn’t feel claustrophobic in the big crowd.
  14. How can I comment on something I haven’t seen Not sure what ragging means? Must be local to Kilbirnie But my feelings after a win are it’s 3 points in a long season and not carried away but happy to be where we are as it’s been a long time since in this position, but full expect Talbot and Hurlford to be above us at the end of the season, unless we carry a bit of luck or our terrible injury list changes soon.
  15. My first real comment on the thread was that the penalty was given for the wrong foul. He missed one that was a foul and gave it for one that arguably wasn’t. Pointing out how bad the ref was. Yes, he then continued it with letting your lot away with things, late challenges after fouls blown for etc. Anyway, hope your weekend hasn’t been ruined too much as it seems when your lot play us it’s played like it’s your cup final.
  16. You posted pollok fans see what they want to see, I was just pointing out that you lot are the same. Guess what, every football supporter is the same. Hardly groundbreaking news.
  17. What point did this happen, I was down the Pollok end so couldn’t see that? However looking at the highlights, after your number 5 drops to the ground like he is shot by a sniper the number 4 is over at him, no Pollok player in sight? As for seeing what they want, second half was unfortunately watching the game where I usually do - the way Lok attack and listened to non stop moaning for every decisions by KL bench and supporters behind it. Fouls they wanted to be given which they got, then complain for the same one against them. So maybe have a look at yourselves first before saying a group of fans only see what they want.
  18. He did, continually let your mob away with off the ball stuff and constant fouls. So many fouls he couldn’t even remember who was making them.
  19. The Pollok penalty should have been awarded for the push on Gal, blatant push, which if camera was on other side would have even shown it more clearer. Ref was a shocker today, couldn’t do the basics, which was control the game.
  20. Maybe try building a toilet , shocking that last time I visited pollok I had to stand in a brick walled off area that belongs in the 60s for a pea, god knows where you go for a dump, Hope it wasn’t too mushy.....
  21. Good luck to DG. Will be interesting to see who he brings in with him, will Butch join him? Wouldn’t surprise me to see him do well, intelligent footballer will have decent contacts and always active on the touch line when not playing or even taking shooting drills in warm ups at the end of his time at Pollok
  22. A fan of Kilwinning Rangers commenting on an opponents manager shouting at officials without a hint of irony. A team managed by one of the biggest gobs in junior football. I was over the other side of the park and there was only one voice I constantly heard and that wasn’t Murdies.
