  1. After Dundee’s vote allegedly went awol there was never any doubt what way it was going to turn out. Hope Partick take it all the way through the courts. Your local Sunday league amateur committee would run circles round these clowns in charge of our leagues. I’ll say it again if that is sporting justice then I’m finished with football. I agree with Charlie Nicholas a computer expert should be sent into the SPFL headquarters and deliver us the truth of the fake yes no vote.
  2. Your chairmans coming across as absolutely desperate for financial assistance after only 4 weeks without income. To an outsider it would appear Raith are definently being run on a financial edge. Just appears that most chairman have sold their sporting souls for the promise of a few grand that was coming their way anyway. The game will never move forward if the clubs can’t work together.
  3. Can only say their must be some chairman desperate for cash if they can shaft their fellow clubs like what has happened here. Surely they can see the totally unjust outcomes for some teams and the long term financial implications. If teams are only 3 or 4 weeks from financial melt down they must be living way beyond their means, and running their clubs on the financial edge. If that’s what the promise of a few grand does what chance of clubs coming together to find a solution. I would suggest nil .
  4. Maybe because they can’t get their head round Partick Thistle, and Stranraer being relegated but Brechin who are also being tailed off at the foot of league 2 some how don’t come into a relegation equation. Goes to the heart of sporting integrity or is it because Brechin have their man on the SPFL committee. The whole thing stinks to the core of Scottish football.
  5. It’s all beginning to sound like something out of Putins Russia. Corruption at the very heart of our game all clubs that voted in good faith should cancel their vote until the truth can be established. Sounds like Celtics influence some where at the back of all this.
  6. Can we get a re run of the New year 2018 derby at Starks park next week. That was a a great day and braw afternoon..
  7. Can these bafoons running our game not do anything correct. How hard can it be to organise a vote between your members and communicate the result. Honestly how our game still has the support of so many fans is hard to grasp. I actually despair at the complete and utter shambles that is the SPFL board absolutely cringeworthy.
  8. Don’t think Hearts will be needing a passport for European football
  9. How in the name of sporting integrity can you relegate Partick Thistle and at the same time not relegate Hearts. Lawyers are going to be very busy people. Look at the money Kelty have gambled on getting promotion to be told hang on Brechin wont be relegated. Any chairman that votes for that should hang his head in shame.
  10. A big no from me a few unjust sporting integrity calls if that is used to promote and relegate teams . You just knew the the people behind Scottish football would come up with something so controversial.
  11. Correct me if I’m wrong, but with the majority of players contracts up in late May and all loan players heading back to their parent clubs, playing the last 8 games of the current season after late May would mean most teams wouldn’t have enough signed players to form a 5 a side team. So would you play the last 8 games let’s say for arguments sake at beginning of August with completely different squads. Can’t really see any way out this sad sorry mess other than promoting top 2 and no relegation .
  12. Ah memories of the old Bayview was that Ray Charles in goals for the Fife a Montrose and East Fife hero.
  13. Think realistically uefa have to lead the way on this. If they want the season to mean anything the top two teams should move up and no relegation. This would definently be the least controversial outcome. Definently won’t be no football before players contracts run out in May. Add in all the loan players and teams squads will look a whole lot different if it was concluded after late May. Just hope that all teams manage to survive as no team deserves to go under due to circumstances way out their control. However having said al that don’t hold your breath on some crazy decision by the blazers at the wheel of Scottish football.
  14. Think if Montrose score first it will be game over.We just don’t appear to have the tools to break teams down, Montrose twice this season have went a goal up against us and comfortably seen the game out. You know what your going to get against them and it is all based on a hard work ethic. They will be right in your face and up for every battle all over the park. We have had a decent run of results at home lately and we must surely be due a home victory over Montrose as it seems like an age since we beat them at Bayview.
  15. Please don’t say that you seen what happened at Bayview with the New Year derby when Ross Davidson didn’t play.
  16. Definently lacking a cutting edge when we are on the road only 2 goals in our last five away games. Our trips to Airdrie this season have seen 2 very controversial penalty decisions go against us. Airdrie and Montrose very much alike big strong teams. If you let them get in front very difficult to break down. Playing pretty football up to the 18 yard line no good unless you have an end product. Having said that just watched a team worth millions Man City having the same problem. As is the norm in a promotion or relegation battle always highs and lows on the way to the finishing line.
  17. Airdrie. 2. East Fife. 0 Clyde. 3. Dumbarton. 1 Falkirk. 3. Peterhead. 0 Montrose. 3. Stranraer 2 Raith. 3. Forfar. 1
  18. Hope those 4 points worth the million pound of debt
  19. Well done lads keeps the noise down from the noisy neighbours can only hear bottles crashing in Fife tonight .
  20. Don’t know if scoring in the first 30 seconds changed our mindset. We didn’t appear to get out of second gear today and we never played with any tempo. Forfar can’t be faulted for effort but I can’t remember Brett Long making a single save in 90 minutes. The ball never seems to sit down on that pitch and the players all find it hard to judge the bounce. Not pretty but we have been poor on the road this quarter. Think I’m right in saying that’s our first points on the road this quarter. Big Anton should have put the game to bed but he missed a one on one when he might have taken it round the keeper. Then Forfar keeper made a decent save near the end. Thought Kevin Smith did well when he came on and held the ball up well. A great travelling support today backing. The boys. Best for East Fife was Dunlop with no nonsense defending just cleared his lines every time. Anyway a big big improvement needed for our next 3 games., as we move into the business end of the season.
  21. Clyde. 0. Falkirk 2 Dumbarton 0. Raith. 3 Forfar 1. East Fife. 1. Montrose. 1. Airdrie. 1 Stranraer. 2. Peterhead. 1.
  22. Dumbarton 1. Forfar. 1. East Fife. 2. Stranraer. 1. Falkirk. 2. Montrose. 0 Peterhead. 2. Airdrieonians 1 Raith. 2. Clyde. 1.
  23. To be honest after watching Partick Thistle last night I find it incredible that they signed Lyons and allowed him to stay at Links Park till the end of the season. He would comfortably be as good as any player playing for Thistle up top last night. Very poor judgement by Mcall especially when his team is in a relegation dog fight.
  24. With 40 mph winds forecast for 3pm tomorrow predicting football results could be a lottery but here goes anyway. Airdrie 1. Clyde. 1 East Fife. 3. Peterhead. 2 Forfar. 1. Stranraer. 1 Montrose. 3. Dumbarton. 1
  25. Dumbarton 2. Airdrie. 2 Peterhead 2. Forfar. 1 Stranraer. 1. Raith. 1.
