  1. cheers, see it now. Nightmare with Kerr being out. Any idea how long Frazer is out?
  2. Cowden Cowboy...cant see anything on sfl website on Deano being suspended for Forfar game, re your post previously. Can you confirm?.
  3. dont know about McDaid being out, but hearing Mo is missing this
  4. Just checking. Two bookings v Brechin= sent off, Dean has had seven yellows in various matches before and after that game in September.
  5. Done nothing of note until yesterday. Much more involved v Stenny than previous games.
  6. Much needed win today, but we nearly blew it again. Thought Stenny actually overplayed at the back at times and were their own enemy for our first goal. When we got a quick second the game should have been ours, but the home side pressed and we collapsed for a spell. Lost a couple of shocking goals from our point of view, but a composed finish from Lewis got us back in front. Our oldest outfield player was 23 years old which shows what a young side we have, and of course we will be inconsistent. Must add, the tackle on Scotland by our captain was as important as any of our goals.
  7. Ian Little yes, played/ managed at Berwick.
  8. Definitely. We were comfortable at that point, and without question that moment determined where the points would end up. Thought both were at it, and why the ref showed a yellow and not later in the game when on two occasions Spence was hauled back which were far more blatant than the spot kick incident.
  9. Was our best player away to Airdrie recently, but does too much at times when he could get the ball across goal early. Good that he scored today and hopeful we will get more from him as the season goes on.
  10. Hear the pitch is a mess.
  11. Have sympathy for the manager, as to lose Murdoch and Smith when playing really well is a massive blow. Against Ayr those two along with Greig and Deano blitzed the away side in our most exciting attacking display for ages. After a horrible start I feel Nish has actually done well and no one was arguing about the players he has brought in. We were awful against Stranraer the other week and had a different looking side yesterday which improved after the manager made a couple of changes in fact..obviously don't agree with everything about the side or formations the manager plays at times, ( certainly didn't like our centre back pairing yesterday ) but with our resources I feel overall he is doing not too badly... for me we are in a completely different situation from last season, when we all knew Jimmy was relegating the side. I have no such fears for the rest of the season ahead.
  12. Airdrie Sat back happy to let us have the majority of the possession. We were very statuesque regarding our movement off the ball however, whereas when the home side broke there was always a willing runner from the midfield whom was never picked up. The first goal was very poor with our centre halts flat footed as the home sides player nicked in before the keeper to score, and we we nth in at half time deservedly a goal down. Actually thought we played some good stuff second half with McDaid causing problems down the left. We were guilty at times of trying to walk the ball into the net, but maybe credit to Airdries defending as they fought hard to keep us out. They missed a sitter, and scored late on when we were all up the other end. The goal didn't matter but should have been easily kept out, the shot was very central to the goals. Airdrie were a much better organised side than the hapless lot that turned up at CP in December, without looking great. Thought our play merited a draw in the end but have no gripes about the result.
  13. As been said, this is a decent Rangers side that kept and moved the ball about making it an impossible task for our part time side. Was delighted to be going in only 2 - 1 down at half time, and my only gripe was we never came out at the start of the second half. The home side could have walked the ball in a couple of times before the third goal as we never made a tackle. That apart I don't think we could have done much more Tbh when you compare the players and resources of the two sides. In the end it was all about the occasion and a very decent pay day for the club. This was for the wonderful people that help Cowdenbeath FC continue to compete at a decent level.
  14. Delighted about Kerr staying, never thought we could hold on to him. Maybe the lad is enjoying playing just now and well done to the club....Again. No chance of Murdoch though, is there?.
  15. We were superb going forward tonight and should have won by more. The keeper situation is bad though, and we have to get something sorted rcfor Saturday as we won't get away with playing a goalie that can barely stand against the Pars.
  16. Where do see it, went on the For far Website and never noticed it.
  17. Dean was having difficulty with coughing fits on the pitch.
