  1. Word. I'm one of those opposition fans who thinks this is dramatic nonsense. Besides, signing more former Raith players isn't the answer to your woes.
  2. A wild take. Not a good look? Sitting with a mate at the football?
  3. Back in January I pondered why no-one was hounding the manager and wondered how long it would take. About 6 weeks seems to be the answer.
  4. You're not playing fishermen and posties this season, that's what. Levels.
  5. Yes, he is. Stanton is sorely missed and we've not kicked a ball since he got injured. We won't kick another until he returns.
  6. We don't deserve anything from this. We are awful right now. Could play another 30 and not succeed.
  7. We've not come close to scoring, whereas Airdrie have come close to putting this to bed early on. Our central defence, with our preferred formation back in place, is just jaw-droppingly bad. Our midfield is still a man short because Easton is still drifting about, giving away or getting caught in possession. Forward getting no service and we're as toothless as we've ever been. So, apart from the hole in central defence, the wholly ineffective midfield and the isolated forward, we're getting what we deserve. Punted.
  8. Murray having an absolute nightmare. But he's a better option than Corr?
  9. TV experts saying we need to get Easton more involved. I think involving him much less would be a better idea. Surprised he's back out for 2nd half.
  10. You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until IM starts with the subs.
  11. Dear Kyle Turner. Gonnae no float these stupid, wafty balls forward into the teeth of the cyclone? Not a single one has worked.
  12. Todorov escaping a booking from his Uncle Colin there for thon tackle. Surprising. Not
  13. I could have run from my house and scored that. Not a soul near him. He'd have to be sent off if he missed it.
  14. It wasn't a decision to keep O'Reilly or not. It was a decision to not give him what he wanted, ie better contract terms than we calculated him to be worth. The player decided to leave. I'm a little concerned if we don't bring a defender in at all. Others have said it's OK if Watson is back, but I disagree. He's not match fit and unlikely to be for a week or three. Even then he remains injury prone and at higher risk of breakdown simply because he's been injured and out for so long. And I'm afraid it wouldn't be the 1st time we've seen IM bring someone back too quickly. Murray, as others have said, doesn't seem fully fit either and therefore remains a risk. Corr, on the other hand, did a shift when called upon and I struggle to see why he's not getting game time. IM has his reasons, I'm sure. This lack of investment in the back line will, I think, cost us over the remaining games. I think Rudden will score but much depends on formation and tactics as IM buggers about with the midfield, trying radical alternatives to cover for injured or suspended players at the back. You could argue O'Reilly was worthy of a better offer but the apparent lack of fight from us to secure him suggests either extreme prudence, arguably later discounted by bringing in Rudden and Turner, or there was a plan in place for someone else, which may have fallen through. If the plan was to rely on Watson and Murray, with Corr unused and looking on, I fear we've holed our own boat to a certain extent. I do hope the attacking players get out of each others way and score 1 more than the opposition but I'm not confident. Still would have bitten your limbs off to be in this position, but I don't want us to look back and say "Och, I wish we'd left Turner alone and brought in someone else."
  15. We got more than glimpses at Starks Park. We stood back and stared as he trotted forward unchallenged and pinged one in the pokey.
  16. Just popped in to see if we'd signed anyone yet. Seems not. Seems also whoever said the Ashcroft deal was "imminent" was slavering.
  17. Got to lay that fully at IM tonight. Woeful 1st half formation with only 1 CH in a back 3, a CH returning from injury at that (2 CHs on bench). Midfield strangled by numbers and as a result no-one knows what they're doing. Keeper's fitness debatable too. 2nd half a bit better in 442 but too little too late and no ability to unlock a 5 or some times 6 man defence, due in some small part to our Tannadice Maestro always taking too many touches, getting caught in possession or playing the difficult ball when the easy one would have done. If Corr, who looked OK last time, can't get a game in a formation like that, why is he here? I'd be pretty pissed off if I was him. I could go on but to be honest, I've bored myself. That was dire. We have so many good players and at the moment, the manager can't get a tune out of them. Bumps in the road? This is a slippery slope, unless he changes his ways.
  18. Gave them 3 goals for free. 2 and 3 in particular, awful, but all 3 down to us. Wee prod down middle for 1 where 2 men are caught out; enough time to bring the ball down, fix his hair and pop a trundler in for 2, with Dabrowski going down like a venetian blind, and no-one near him for 3, with Dabrowski once again going down in instalments. 3 at back is a nightmare. Too many midfielders and a new striker sitting on bench. Their new striker has scored 3. Oh Rovers....
  19. This league is most definitely NOT "there for the taking".
  20. I suspect the HoF will continue in some form under new management. I think it needed a refresh and I hope those involved are still open to reconvening and continuing their good work.
  21. Ashcroft starting tonight for a Dundee side 2 up at half time away to Hearts doesn't really square up as a player going out on loan in the next week or so....
